I used Reeds Rains initially to manage a rental and then to sell the property. I highly recommend them. They are professional but welcoming, nothing is ever too much. Property well presented when advertised. Lots of viewings organised. Had two failed offers, for genuine reasons, but final and successful offer pushed through relatively quickly. Thanks to staff, particularly Andrea, Abbie and Sue, keeping us well informed at all times. Finally I think RR commissions compare well to competition.

Saw a house being sold by Reeds Rains, sent 2 messages via Rightmove and then an email directly. None were responded to. After a few days, decided to ring them to try & arrange a viewing. Managed to arrange the viewing. But had no explanation or apology for the lack of response. Went to the viewing, received no follow up or a request for feedback. I was just grateful we hadn't chosen them to sell our house!

Would highly recommend. Lesley, Roy, Ruth and team have just supported me through a really complex house sale. They have gone over and above to provide advice, support, and have kept me up to date throughout. In comparison to other local agents, I feel that this agent/branch really know the local area, and housing market, and were able to give informed advice, which made me feel that I could really trust their opinions. Also, after my house being on the market for some time with another local agent, with limited genuine viewings, after I transferred to Reeds Rains, we were inundated with viewings (which were primarily facilitated by the agents) and we had an offer pretty quickly. Horrendous!

The response to my initial review (posted on 28th November, below) is as unsatisfactory as the service. Whatever the company claim now, I can evidence all of the concerns I listed. Further, almost three weeks after the moving date, problems persist. The fridge and freezer were not working and the tenant lost £130 of food. He is still without a working oven and has no access to the electric meter to obtain an initial reading. The latter is especially concerning because the hot water tank heats up constantly and then drains itself: imagine how much this is costing! Various items are broken (door handles, toilet seat) and there is black mould around the windows, very unhealthy. The tenant is facing Christmas with a microwave meal. How unacceptable is this! Happy Christmas, ReedsRains., , , , , -Dealing with this company has been a nightmare, for myself and the tenant for whom I acted as guarantor. Annabel Gilbey was the nominated negotiator but emails and phone calls to her went unanswered. On one occasion, the tenant drove several hundred miles for a viewing, leaving home at 5am but no-one turned up. A phone call would have been helpful. Sending a text when the negotiator knew he was travelling was not. We were sent repeated requests for information, money and urgent legal confirmations - none of which were necessary had the negotiatior or her colleagues acted professionally. The Branch Manager Justin Barton must bear the greatest responsibility for this. My concerns can be evidenced if this is necessary.

salford quays barance were the worst letting agents we have been unfortunate enough to have dealings with, if you can avoid them I suggest that you do. the move in inventory was a work of fiction with not a single fault or damage mentioned and the flat was filthy with numerous items of damage and disrepair that they are now trying to claim from us after moving out and leaving the place in better condition that we moved in Jessica was so tardy at arranging repairs that we gave up. never again would we deal with these people

We had had our property up for quite a while with a different popular local branch but wasn’t getting feedback unless we chased and felt quite despondent. We switched to Reeds Rain and knew straight away we had made the right choice. Customer service is their strength and we were kept informed every step we took. Andy reassured us our house would sell quickly and the girls in the office found viewers and kept us uptodate. They sold our after only a few weeks of viewings and helped guide us through the legalities of selling and buying never minding our daft questions. Fantasic team at Reeds Rains - especially Toni and Lesley who helped me source a new property to rent out in Chroley. I viewed 5 or 6 houses with diferent agents in Chorley and Toni and Lesley really stood out. They pointed me in the right direction for what areas to look at and put me in touch with their rental team that gave me all the information I needed to feel happy with my new purchase.
