The team at Chorley Bridgefords were great support for us with buying our first house. They met our requests for multiple viewings, they were there to contact when we needed them and would try their best to help us. Steph at the chorley branch, was always on hand, if she didn't know the answers there and then, she would definitely make sure that she called back promptly when she did. There were never any issues with asking them for direction or information. The buying process seemed to take longer than expected but the team at chorley made sure that we had all the answers, kept up with the solicitors and kept us updated every step. They were very reassuring. Would definitely recommend Bridgefords!

Absolutely brilliant experience with Bridgfords. Everyone was very helpful and friendly but I deal mainly with Katie and Lyndsy who were fantastic with what was with what was a fairly complicated tenancy There were lots of barriers and issues and they were very accommodating and eager to help. They went out of their way to make the process as easy as possible . I would highly recommend Katie, Lyndsy and Bridgfords to everyone . I can only give 5 stars but would give you all 10 out of 5!!

Purchased a property via Bridgfords, and despite the sale of my own (via a different agent - lesson learnt there!) being a complete nightmare, they remained patient throughout. Shout out to Emma in particular who excelled with communication - always quick to reply and never once did I get the impression she was frustrated with the lack of progress from my side (which, frankly would have been more than understandable). Completely different experience to the agent I sold through, who were a nightmare to deal with despite high fees!

We decided to go with Bridgfords Chorley to help sell our home because when Louise came out to see us, she was not only polite and professional but she was very friendly and easy to talk to and wasn’t pushy in the slightest. We didn’t want to move but had to due to my health problems and needed a bungalow so the whole process was difficult for us. There was a bungalow we had seen already on the market so asked if a quick sale was possible as we didn’t want to miss it. Our house went up Thursday evening, we had 10 viewings booked in by Saturday, and 2 offers by Monday. Louise and Stephanie helped us though the whole process making it so much easier than it would have been without them. We’ve used several estate agents in the past but Bridgfords was by far the best one. They stayed with us every step of the way and went above and beyond helping us out along the way. We even received a curtesy call a couple of days after the move to see how we was settling in our new home. We don’t plan on ever moving again but if we do, we will definitely be using them again. Valuation?? They can't be bothered!

Booked in a valuation with Bridgfords. They called the following morning at 830 which was very efficient. Was advised over the phone that this would take 30 minutes. Had a phone call from the Sale branch on the morning of the appointment. Asked if i intended to put my house up for sale, said it would be dependent on the equity we have in the house. He said the valuation would take and hour and a half and he could send a virtual valuation. It sounded like the guy couldn't be bothered at all. If this is the level of experience you get from someone that is trying to get your business, I would hate to think about the experience you would have selling through this place. Really poor service!

I sold my 4 bedroom detached house with Bridgfords Chorley and what a pain free experience this was! Louise and Stephanie did a fantastic job and if I had 10 houses to sell in the area, trust me I would not go anywhere else!! It was quite remarkable that they sold my property in less than a week with an immediate 1st viewing even before the photos and advert were fully published. They made the process extremely easy and this was not the first house I sold so I knew it's never that simple. After the first meeting with Louise, I knew she was not giving me a sales speech when she said she could sell my property very quickly and she had several customers waiting that would be immediately interested. I love honest and straight forward people, Louise did not let me down and her claims were 100% accurate, this is something very uncommon these days. I also have to thank Stephanie who conducted the 1st and only viewing we required. She kept me informed at all times and it's the first time ever that I didn't need to chase a company to give me an update about X or Y. Well what I can say! SHOCKING SERVICE.

Well what I can say!! After 7 years we have had enough and made the decision to move after countless problems. I am now having to move away from the area I grew up in and also I have to let my pet dog go after all the problems and YES BRIDGFORDS YOU ARE TO BLAME!!!! When we moved into the property it was just about habitable, it should not of been presented in the way it was but we were desperate. Over the years we improved the property ourselves and made it a nice home and we genuinely felt at home. Problems included heating pump problems, shower problems, we were left without a gas hob for 6 weeks, had to live practically off ready meals. Roof leaks, boiler problems which take weeks or even months to resolve. The penultimate decision to move was made when we were left without heating over the Christmas period, the house ended up like an ice box to the extreme causing massive distress to us and our young children, but they just don't care, waiting days and days for quotes to be accepted. Money comes before Health and Safety with these guys and to top it off we are being harassed to arrange viewings for new tenants, absolute joke. Unlucky for them is that I know property law, probably better than them and I have the right to refuse access to them until tenancy agreement ends. No one from the agency has ever been out to inspect the property in 7 years but they are willing to show people around, for they all know the property could be trashed. Absolutely unprofessional, some staff should be nowhere near the business of real estate. I think they think that payment of rent is just for the property, its not you pay rent for a service to which you do not get! DO NOT RENT A PROPERTY FROM BRIDGFORDS. Its just a shame it has come to this but they are to BLAME FOR IT ALL!! SIMPLE. GOOD LUCK TO WHOEVER MOVES IN!!

They will try and squeeze as much money out of you as they can

Only 2 issues were ever followed up on out of the roughly 20 issues we reported and that was the broken window and the broken front door. To get the dishwasher replaced it took over 3 months of calling twice a week. Don't be surprised if the person in charge of your tendency at Bridgfords is only leave every time you call. When we complained bout how filthy the apartment was when we moved in we were told by the manager of the Manchester office "well its not going to get a £500 clean". It didn't look like they spent £50 to cleaners. When we spoke to the land lord on it they said Bridgfords took hundreds off the previous tenants to have it cleaned. where that money went I'm sure was to bridgfords profit margains.On moving out we left the place exceptionally more clean than how we got it but still got a very long detailed report of how dirty it was and complained about the issues we reported when we moved in but they never fixed. Bridgfords said this about our deposit on checkout "I would advise that the landlord has decided to proceed with the works themselves, and therefore the offer of £100 to be deducted is a lot less than if we had arranged for the works to be organised through one of our contractors, which was previously advised by myself as a result of the checkout report."They admittedly said they would have charged us a lot more if the landlord did not intervene.when I provided proof of the damage they wanted to charge us for they said I can appeal but it can take 3 months, which I'm sure they know most people need there old deposit to pay for a new one. we did not appeal because of thisI viewed the apartment, it was a nice apartment but dirty we were promised it would be cleaned. On move in day, the apartment looked like it got a quick wipe of a mope and the garbage was taken out. Apart from that it was filthy. Dirt, cobwebs and cigaret puds on the balcony. cupboards were stained. Carpet was was torn around the edges. toilet seat was dirty and heavily stained with fake tan. paint splattered on worktops. dishwasher broken, window broken, wouldn't close. all the furniture in the bedrooms were half broken, drawers fallen down on top of each other the base of some drawers split. couch high stools and tiles were all filthy. oven not properly cleaned thick grease around the seal. carpet stained, curtain very stained.Throughout out tendency we had the following issues, mould growing in bathroom, worktop seal lifting, carpet getting progressively more frayed on the edge where it was coming away fro the seal.
