I sold my 4 bedroom detached house with Bridgfords Chorley and what a pain free experience this was! Louise and Stephanie did a fantastic job and if I had 10 houses to sell in the area, trust me I would not go anywhere else!! It was quite remarkable that they sold my property in less than a week with an immediate 1st viewing even before the photos and advert were fully published. They made the process extremely easy and this was not the first house I sold so I knew it's never that simple. After the first meeting with Louise, I knew she was not giving me a sales speech when she said she could sell my property very quickly and she had several customers waiting that would be immediately interested. I love honest and straight forward people, Louise did not let me down and her claims were 100% accurate, this is something very uncommon these days. I also have to thank Stephanie who conducted the 1st and only viewing we required. She kept me informed at all times and it's the first time ever that I didn't need to chase a company to give me an update about X or Y. They are all truly professional to the core and more importantly very nice people to deal with. I could not recommend them high enough and I take this opportunity to thank them again. Muchas gracias! Absolutely shocking , no chase ups , no progress or updates for my purchase, no follow up , consequently a £400 k purchase failing at the last minute , not qualified to sell houses correctly, , complete garbage im afraid , cost me thousands in abortive fees , totally lied to & lead down the garden path. A waste of 8 months of my life , totally in shock upset & devastated

Unfortunately, i read these reviews quite late and I am in agreement with all the negative opinions about Bridgfords Withington. We tried to buy a flat, but when we told them that we have our own mortgage advisor, the communication stopped. When we tried to get updates, they would try to discourage us to continue. They went on making an offer for our maximum budget, despite only having 1 additional buyer who offered 25k less than us. Dishonesty/ lack of transparency and totally unprofessionalism, especially Richard/ Hammad. I am happy I did not use their services, and I now select properties which are not in their portfolio. Quite sure the seller has received a lower offer as well, which is a shame as the flat was superb. Avoid!

Our new property was listed through Bridgfords and they have been excellent from start to finish. Lauren Blackburn dealt with our case and nothing was too much of a hassle for her. She phoned the vendor when things needed clarifying and was incredibly quick to reply to emails which my husband and I will be eternally grateful for! She is also the most enthusiastic and invested sales negotiator I have even came across which was an absolute delight! After leaving a different estate agents that my property had been with for 16 weeks with appalling service I was sceptical about choosing my next estate agent. When louise came to my house she immediately made me confident that she would sell the property. Louise was very knowledgable and told me facts even though they might not of been what I wanted to hear. My property sold within 2 weeks of being on the market with them. I had such a lovely experience and hand holding throughout my rental process even though I never rented my property through Bridgfords. Sam Barrett was a lovely and helpful guy that kept me going when I was struggling to find places due to having pets! He checked up to see how I was getting on and offered advice as well, I didnt get this with any other rental company! My experience of my house move from finding the house at the start right up till the day I moved in was fantastic. I found my agent Sam Fast and accurate, extremely helpful and friendly and I was in the house within 2 weeks!! He understood my difficulties in filling in forms, and without hesitating he helped me fill them in. plus he sent gentle reminders via email when I had forgotten to do something due to my neuro disability. Bridgfords did an excellent job of marketing my home and were professional throughout the sale process . From my first visit from Bridgefords I felt confident that they were the agent I was going to use. The brochure was very well produced and the photographer took time to show the house to its best advantage .Louise had thoroughly researched properties similar to mine and gave a realistic view of the price I could expect to realise on her first visit. Emma was present for all viewings and was sensitive to my requests for how the house should be presented. Both kept in touch regularly and gave feedback on each viewing, usually the next day.
