I'm a first time buyer and I found the staff very friendly, helpful, and patient with my many questions. I also really appreciated their prompt replies to my calls or emails. The whole process was very smooth and efficient and I was able to move in 2 months after agreeing to the sale (it was no chain which helped of course). If I ever buy or sell again, I'll very likely be using them. Extra thank you to Emma who overlooked everything 🙏😊 I highly recommend their services!

We had a great experience with Bridgfords Estate Agents! The whole team was always available to talk and incredibly responsive throughout the process. Emma, in particular, was fantastic, friendly, proactive, and kept us well informed every step of the way. Even when Emma was away, there was always someone else ready to help, which made things run really smoothly. Emails were replied to promptly, and when we hit some delays with the solicitors, Bridgfords were brilliant at stepping in and pushing things forward. Thanks to their persistence and communication, we were able to get into our new home as quickly as possible. We’d highly recommend them!

Refused to return deposit after tenancy ended, eventually complying four months later after we enacted formal action. Ignored all our calls and emails, and during the little communication I could get with them I was treated with more rudeness and dishonesty than I have ever experienced. In particular Deposits Manager Paddy and Leanne consistently treated us with the utmost contempt. Probably some sort of illegal operations behind the scenes. Avoid!

I recently moved into Brigford property and I can't express how grateful I am for the fantastic support from Lucy and Murray. From the moment I began the application process, they were incredibly helpful and attentive to my needs. Lucy guided me through all the paperwork with clarity and patience, ensuring I understood everything. On move-in day, Murray went above and beyond to assist me, he helped with any questions I had and made sure everything was in order. 6 months ago I registered my property to rent with Katie at Bridgefords in Chorley. I was rather nervous as the property I was registering to rent was my own home rather than a buy to let. Katie was great, she was really chatty and friendly and gave me lots of reassurance around the tenant screening process. I felt she genuinely cared about finding me the best possible tenant and trusted her judge of character to select a great couple for me. We had a great experience at Bridgfords finding a rental property from start to finish. They were super helpful when booking a viewing and fitting it in with our schedule. Our journey wasn’t smooth during the referencing process but Lyndsy was always super helpful and supportive and worked really hard to make sure we found a solution. What can I say about Bridgfords in Bamber Bridge, what an absolutely fabulous team of professionals to deal with especially Jane Catterall! This amazing lady has gone above and beyond for us firstly regarding the sale of my mum's house after she passed away, and now ourselves. Without Jane with her knowledge and wealth of experience our house move would have collapsed, she did everything in her power to get the job done, she went above and beyond, and is also a very understanding and caring individual remaining professional throughout. The Bridgfords "Team" in Chorley are such a joy to work with. I initially contacted them 8 months ago and it was their business acumen that they made contact with me this year. Within a couple of phone calls Lyndsy was at the house (same day) to view and advise on the rental. Once the house was on the market they found a tenant that has successfully moved in. We approached Bridgefords having had no success in securing a 6 month let. Most agents advised it would be very difficult to secure a 6 month contract. However, having been recommended by a friend to contact Bridgefords we did so and were not dissapointed. We received exceptional service from the team there, especially Katie and Lyndsy. Their positive "can do" attitude was very reassuring. They matched our needs perfectly which resulted in us signing a lease and moving in a few weeks later ! They supported us through out the application process providing clear guidance and kept us informed. Having just completed on my successful application for Tenancy following the recent and sudden death of both my Mum and Husband, I was taken through a journey of Care, Security and Understanding of the sudden Position I found myself in. It was my wish to move area to be closer to my daughters, when I was alerted to the ideal Property exactly where I was hoping to move to. I met up with Lyndsy McGlade, Senior Lettings Manager who showed me around the property and talked me through the process and in turn introduced me to Katie Summerfield, Lettings Negotiator, who took over the day-to-day step by step process from my application, all the relevant documents required, talked me through all the Checks, what was happening, when and why, requested and checked all my Documents, in fact, she thought of everything. I had been property hunting for some time with no luck using other estate agents, i found one with bridgfords which unfortunately did not go through, however Emma has been super proactive and kept me informed with new properties that suited my needs. Some things never change - still shoddy

Some things never change. We bought our house through Bridgfords 5 years ago- not a good experience. They don’t answer the phone or answer emails. Today, as we’ve decided to sell the house, I thought to myself "maybe they’ve changed." I’ve called them 4 X, each time being redirected to an answering machine.I’ve emailed them and no reply. A continuation of a shoddy service continues. The 2 other estate agents I’ve contacted have replied more or less straight away and visits have been arranged. I honestly don’t know how Bridgfords survives in the current economic climate.

There's a lot to do to get a property ready to rent out - especially when you live abroad like me. I therefore can't recommend the people at Bridgfords enough for going above and beyond to find contractors, cut keys, do the metre readings and finish all the little odd jobs that needed to be done before finding me some lovely tenants.
