I had a very good experience with Emma and her team in Chorley. I had no idea how buying a house process suppose to work and they helped me through all the time. It sale was quicker thanks for their effort and my solicitors. Since the first contact over the phone until the days I got the keys the girls always been super helpful, patient. Couldn’t recommend it more!

Fraud risk

Refused to return deposit after tenancy ended, eventually complying four months later after we enacted formal action. Ignored all our calls and emails, and during the little communication I could get with them I was treated with more rudeness and dishonesty than I have ever experienced. In particular Deposits Manager Paddy and Leanne consistently treated us with the utmost contempt. Probably some sort of illegal operations behind the scenes. Avoid!

We have had an incredible experience through bridgefords. We found a beautiful home that we fell in love with- the viewing was quickly arranged within a matter of days, following this Katie helped us go through everything for the applications and paperwork, didn’t hesitate to anwser any of my 5000 questions and emails and has made the whole experience so easy considering we have a newborn baby at home she has just made this such a calm experience, she is super professional and friendly. we can’t thank her enough- we get the keys next week and we can’t wait to have a lovely home with our little family. I recently moved into Brigford property and I can't express how grateful I am for the fantastic support from Lucy and Murray. From the moment I began the application process, they were incredibly helpful and attentive to my needs. Lucy guided me through all the paperwork with clarity and patience, ensuring I understood everything. On move-in day, Murray went above and beyond to assist me, he helped with any questions I had and made sure everything was in order. We have been renting a place in Buckshaw Village through that agency since 2018. We experienced some minor issues at the very beginning, but the service improved drastically after that. Overall, a great experience. We are especially happy with our assigned agent, who is Cathy Conroy for a wile now, very responsive and she always does her best to get things done as soon as possible (for example fixing, or changing equipment, providing necessary documents, keep in touch with landlord, etc). All in all, very good!

I can’t stress highly enough the professionalism of Kathy, Katie & Lyndsy at Bridgefords in Chorley. With the rent reform coming into effect I was very particular in the type of tenants I wanted. They followed my instructions to the letter and delivered. The after care service is where I have been let down in the past, but they didn’t disappoint. 6 months ago I registered my property to rent with Katie at Bridgefords in Chorley. I was rather nervous as the property I was registering to rent was my own home rather than a buy to let. Katie was great, she was really chatty and friendly and gave me lots of reassurance around the tenant screening process. I felt she genuinely cared about finding me the best possible tenant and trusted her judge of character to select a great couple for me. "Avoid Bridgfords Buckshaw Village at all costs. Absolute shambles and zero professional integrity. I had a viewing confirmed for 3:00 PM today. Despite the severe weather/storm, I drove 30 minutes with my family and dog, only to be stood up. I even received an official SMS reminder at 1:00 PM, yet when I arrived, the house was empty. When I called the office, they claimed a mortgage adviser had ‘verbally’ cancelled it (which is not his job) and then told me the house was already sold. The worst part? When I told the agent I was going to complain about this complete lack of communication, she actually laughed at me over the phone. Disgraceful service, hazardous lack of communication, and utterly rude staff. If you value your time and want to be treated with basic human respect, go elsewhere." Update (14/03/2026): "Following your response, I have now sent a formal complaint to the Connells Group review team as requested. I have provided the SMS evidence showing a confirmation was sent at 1 PM today, contradicting the branch's excuse. I am now waiting for a formal explanation as to why your staff found it appropriate to laugh at a customer’s frustration after a 30-minute drive in hazardous storm conditions. I will update this review once I receive a response."

What can I say about Bridgfords in Bamber Bridge, what an absolutely fabulous team of professionals to deal with especially Jane Catterall! This amazing lady has gone above and beyond for us firstly regarding the sale of my mum's house after she passed away, and now ourselves. Without Jane with her knowledge and wealth of experience our house move would have collapsed, she did everything in her power to get the job done, she went above and beyond, and is also a very understanding and caring individual remaining professional throughout.
