I was not impressed by the lack of…

I was not impressed by the lack of "Personal service" supplied by Waterfords. Once under offer I was passed from the Chobham office to Michael from wherever he was based, whom I had never met. He hassled my solicitors a great deal and once we had exchanged contracts I did not he another word from him or the Chobham office. Very disappointed. The agent I made my purchase through emailed me on the night of exchange with congratualtions and telephoned on the evening of Completion to make sure everything was in order. That is what I call good personal service.

We were first attracted to a local estate agents offering lots of properties in our search radius

We were first attracted to the properties advertised by Waterfords due to the full detail and great photos seen on Rightmove. We always liked the idea of working with a local estate agent, but know that is not always possible. Luckily for us Waterfords had an office based in the area that we were buying, so they were only down the road from our search radius and know the area well as well as the advantage of offering some truly great properties. They kept in contact as we kept our eye out for what we searching for. When we put an offer in for our home we have now exchanged on, Sarah originally dealt with us and communication could not be faulted. Sarah is approachable, knowledgable and made us feel like we too were customers not just the vendors selling the house to us. No question was too much trouble,... and we had lots!As our offer progressed over time, Darren took over our case, I cannot fault the high standard of customer service and he always kept us well informed. Darren was always professional and friendly in his manner. I have already recommended Waterfords to family and I would again to anyone else I hear who is searching for a property. I have friends in the industry and I have highlighted our experience to them. They have a great reputation.We feel honoured to buy our new home through Waterfords and to have dealt with Sarah and Darren. The staff are a credit to the business and represent its values well to all their customers. Thank you Waterfords for making our stressful experience of purchasing a house, pain free!

Professional, supportive and helpful...

I’ve been very impressed with Waterfords in Camberley. I am a local landlord and prefer to use Waterfords because of the support and professionalism they offer. Emily is always there to offer advise ref: contractual details, Matthew has kept me regularly updated and filled the property quickly, Chilton has offered sound advice and forwarded information to support his suggestions regarding pricing and marketing. Darren and the team at Waterfords went…

Darren and the team at Waterford’s went above and beyond to help sell my property and also played a vital role in securing the new property (even though it was with a different agent). Communication was always easy with all members of staff I dealt with being nothing but professional at all times. Waterford’s provided a service which I found to be personal and professional throughout. I know there are a lot of other agents out there that claim to be able to sell/provide a top class service...Some even claim to be able to do that for less than other agents. In my experience you really do get what you pay for with Waterford’s. I am so very glad not to of gone with 'Purple Bricks'. I had to buy the new property through them and again Darren went above and beyond and helped advise to get things in place in time to be able to move into the new property. I would personally use Waterford’s again and recommend them to anyone.

We have been very impressed with the professionalism and service we have received from Waterfords Camberley whilst selling our property and purchasing our new home both through the branch. Nothing has been too much trouble! The whole team lead by Kier has been helpful, but special thanks must go to Joe Joyce, who not only found us our buyer, but also got to know us, so as to be able to show us properties suiting our requirements, when we weren't sure ourselves what we were after. Joe's calm and positive attitude helped immensely, and we felt safe knowing he was there at the end of the phone/email to answer any questions we had. Waterfords in Fleet - Thanks Issy and Hazel!

As first time renters, my boyfriend and I were so relieved to have found such wonderful estate agents to take us through the process. Hazel was really informative when she showed us around the property initially. Issy and Hazel were then absolute super stars, bouncing between my boyfriend, myself and the landlady negotiating terms and keeping us updated all day! Issy then showed us around a final time and took us through the process of making an official offer. It then got a little complicated when I unexpectedly lost my job at the last minute, but Issy was wonderful and so reassuring. Thank you so much guys, we can't wait to move into our first home together :)

Would highly recommend this company…

Would highly recommend this company they are very professional in what they do and also very friendly and welcoming which is refreshing As there are so many bad agents out there we went into the fleet office and where met at our desired property by issy she was extremely polite and very professional we also dealt with Sam the branch manager who was excellent in negotiating for us and dealing with all the necessities that we needed to get our moving date in short I would recommend any of my friends and family to use Waterfords thanks guys 👍👍👍

Best agent out there.

Having had a poor experience with estate agents in the past, it was so refreshing to meet Joseph Joyce. To finally find an agent with pride, passion and professionalism in his work. This is a man who goes above and beyond. You are not treated as a mere pawn in a transaction. From our very first meeting right through to completion, Joe has been a calming, knowledgeable oasis in what can be a rough sea and a stressful nightmare. Every time we spoke on the phone or in person it wasn't like talking to a factual robot it was like talking to a lifelong friend, that is Joe's gift. Joe is an asset to the company and I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Absolutely brilliant

Absolutely brilliant. So many nightmare stories about estate agents. Waterfords at Yateley really made it very easy for us. Special thanks to Sarah who couldn't do enough for us and we were the purchasers. Chased up vendors solicitors every other day really got stuck in. Would highly recommend Waterfords and DC Law (Charlotte) for conveyance they really do work hard together. The whole process took less than 7 weeks from agreed purchase price to completion. Diligent Negotiations Lead to Excellent Outcomes!

We viewed a rental property today that wasn't even on the rental websites, thanks to Matthew Blackman really understanding our needs and situation. Waterfords sold my house in a day

Waterfords were great, can’t fault them as estate agent. Darren was very honest about market conditions and set our expectations at a realistic level, rather than promising the earth as some agents do. He explained all their comprehensive marketing plans, and so we chose Waterfords. As it turned out Sarah there found a buyer for us, who viewed the house the same day it went up on Rightmove and she obtained full asking price by the next day. Long story short, Sarah at Waterfords sold our house in less than 24 hours! She was helpful and communicated well with us throughout the process all the way. Thank you to all at Waterfords!!

Sarah from Waterford’s Yateley

Sarah from Waterford’s Yateley has been super helpful in helping us search for a new home for us. We have had a few viewing with Sarah, she was helpful and had lots of information we needed when looking around. Sarah knew about what we was looking for and informed us about a house that was coming on the market so we booked a viewing. We viewed the house and Sarah knew exactly what we wanted and found us our dream home. I could phone Sarah with questions and a problem that arose and she was extremely helpful and got our problem sorted within 45 minutes. It was never to much for us to phone or go and see her at the office to answer questions even if we thought they were silly questions. Sarah has kept us up to date with a phone call every week to let us know where we are in the sale and anything else that need information from us. Sarah has been superstar to us buying our first home, and if the need ever arose that we needed to move again I would be coming back to Sarah to help us. Sarah is helpful, friendly and nothing is ever a bother to her and we wouldn’t of found our house without her. Thank you Sarah it is truly appreciated for all your help xxx

We recently bought a house through Waterfords and I would highly recommend then. Bradley was the main person who supported us through the process and his service was outstanding and faultless. He was there every step and was willing to explain and clarify anything we didn’t understand- even to the point of going through the Honebuyers survey results with us! Their communication is brilliant, weekly phone calls or emails to update you on the process and prompt replies if I ever emailed any questions over. The rest of the team seemed lovely too when I had spoken to them. All in all a fantastic branch that I wouldn’t hesitate using if I ever needed to sell a house.

Exceptional service from Waterfords Yateley

My partner and I have recently bought our first property with Waterfords and I take great pleasure in providing a review of the fabulous service we received, from our extensive property search through to completion.  For context, we viewed over 100 properties with numerous estate agents in the South/ South East over the past year, our experience of the agents (and the properties!) varied considerably but none met the standard we experienced with the Waterfords team in Yateley.  Bradley took time to understand our requirements, was impeccably professional and knowledgeable every time we spoke.  Sarah was always friendly and enthusiastic and gained answers to any questions/ queries we had ensuring we remained informed in a timely manner.  We met Darren on the day we were to exchange and he added to the excellent standard his team had already set and even offered local knowledge of the area and our new neighbours!   I really can’t recommend Waterfords in Yateley enough!  Thank you to Bradley, Sarah and Darren.

I was a buyer, not a seller.However, as a buyer the branch in Fleet (Hants) were responsive and helpful for all my interactions. The house buying transaction was a bit of a marathon, for reasons beyond Waterfords' control, so if I were to make one observation it would be that I was close to being nagged a few times as they tried to move matters on. Which is what they need to do sometimes. It's unlikely to have been a one-seided performance, so I imagine the seller received similar good attention.

Renters beware! Renting from them was an absolute nightmare.

Renting from Waterfords' fleet branch was a complete nightmare! I think 1 star is being very generous for Waterfords as a whole, and it would be zero if I could. I was a tenant in Victoria Rd, Farnham and found they were absolutely useless at resolving serious issues with the property we were renting. Communication was very poor and Waterfords only seemed to respond after we sent emails to the landlord, council and other agencies. Our house was in a poor state of repair to the point an electrician cut off part of the electrics as it wasn't wired correctly. Their representative Ellie was always off sick or on holiday to the point we questioned her existence. What's more, they didn't seem to be trained properly in tenancy law or regulations - my partner and I had to correct them several times when it came to the quoting non-existing clauses in our contract and quote legislation to them in order to get them to take action. When it came to raising a dispute with the property ombudsman they only acknowledged me as 'the tenant's boyfriend', despite my name being on the contract and me paying rent to them. Renters beware! It seems like once Waterfords has your money they stop caring about you.

We have had an absolutely fantastic service from Waterfords Yateley. From our initial viewing of properties to the completion and collection of keys, the entire experience was top class! Sarah was our main point of contact and throughout the process she was brilliant, a real credit to the company. She kept us updated on progress and even when we faced an unexpected challenge she was totally honest and communicated with us regularly.
