Waterfords

I used Waterfords for lettings and then for a property sale on the same property. I was disappointed with the lack of connectivity between lettings and sales. I was disappointed with the number of errors in the text for the property sale documents eg solicitors e mail address and other unnecessary typos. I never dealt with one person. Names came and went with no understanding of who did what both on sales and lettings. I just had this overall impression of lack of organisation and joined up systems. Once I found the right person, they were always very helpful and friendly and did what they said they were going to do. It was just heard reaching them and knowing who I should be speaking to!

Willing staff that require constant prompting

We have been landlords for a number of years with Waterfords with the full management service. We must say that the quality of inspections has dropped with scant reports lacking any detail and an unwillingness to follow up resulting issues in a timely manner. A simple handyman fix can take weeks for the staff to organise and we are never kept up to date unless we chase endlessly. Overall, the quality of the property management department has decreased to the extent that we wonder what we are paying for now...

Great rental and sales service

Waterfords have been really helpful to me in both renting out my house and later selling it, both whilst I was away living elsewhere, so it was important that I trusted them completely to represent me in my absence. Both sides of the business were efficient, informative and understanding at all times. The house rented to the first person who saw it, and while the sale took a little longer the negotiations got me a good price and I believe suited both the buyers and myself well. Thank you!

Friendly and supportive

Water fords sold my hose quickly and efficiently, gave good advice around advertising and valuation and I feel got it about right. The people were friendly and well informed when I had questions and persistent and calm when things got difficult in the selling process ( through no fault of theirs!). I would be happy to work with them again. Special mentions for Steve for his determination and support, Sarah for making the sale and Lynn for making sure everything got done.
