I feel very strongly about sharing the outstanding experience with Waterfords estate agentsFrom start to finish I was kept up to date on a regular basis, regular contact was made with buyers and solicitors to share all relevant information with me. Excellent process management

We purchased our new house through Waterfords and found Joe and the other members of the team incredibly efficient and supportive. I have new found respect for estate agents particularly in the challenging 'post-offer pre-exchange' period. In our case, there was a long chain above us and numerous issues in the run up to the exchange which was exacerbated by us being on holiday during this especially stressful time. Joe remained calm, supportive and professional and advised us wherever possible. He also liaised with our solicitor and the agent dealing with our sale to keep momentum going. Waterfords also manage our rental property for us and so my experience of them has been excellent as both landlords and buyers. Highly recommended.

Waterfords Yateley - the friendly effective estate agent

Waterfords Yateley have served the local area for many years. I knew their good reputation from when I lived in the locality a decade ago, and they were my first choice when I wished to return to the area. They don't disappoint, with their local knowledge and professionalism. They are very hard working to provide a maximum chance of finding the right property, whilst being friendly and never pushy. Luke Channing, my assigned rep, is always positive, enthusiastic and helpful. On one occasion he was able to arrange 5 viewings of vetted properties for me in one day, so as to help with my out of area location. Can't praise Waterfords enough for their effective, results driven team work, straight forward talking, friendliness and professionalism.

Knowledge, friendly, trustworthy agents

Waterfords agents by far - namely Joe Joyce - were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable whilst we were house hunting. Waterfords presented themselves as professional but friendly agents who I am in no doubt acted well for their client and prospective buyers. Although we did not end up purchasing a house through Waterfords, we would have no hesitation in procuring their services when the time comes to sell our next property / seek a new house. Excellent service from a professional and experienced team

The team at the Yateley branch were fantastic throughout, and very professional. They provided honest and realistic information and advice. As we haven't moved for 20 years and were a bit out of touch, they were also able to give advice on the whole process including conveyancing and removals, which was so helpful. The photos and plans were of excellent quality. We were regularly updated, and once we had sold the house, they kept in touch with the solicitors and let us know how things were progressing. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble, and we could not have wished for a better service. Thank you to Mr Walter and the whole team.

Waterfords - March 2017

As a first time buyer, Waterfords kept me informed of what was happening on a regular basis via phone or email and talked me through the different steps of the process which was helpful. The house sale completed very quickly (6 weeks) which was good but a bit stressful at times because of the speed at which everything had to be done. Overall though because the vendors and buyer were both motivated to get things moving quickly, the process was relatively straightforward in the end. Overall, a positive first experience.

Waterfords Farnham

I instructed Waterfords to market my house in Farnham in August 2016. I had had dealings with another Farnham agent and had intended to use them on the sale but arranged a valuation as Waterfords had sold a property nearby and i was very impressed by Adam's approach and his suggestions for marketing the property. I was therefore initially disappointed when he went on paternity leave and the colleagues in his office did not appear as effective or efficient. However I noticed a significant change once Hugo Chapman joined the team a couple of weeks later. He made a real effort to understand my requirements and to learn more about the house. He became the lead agent on my sale and I found him to be efficient, proactive and friendly. He had negotiated a good price and when issues arose with the sale put himself out to ensure that the problems were resolved. I was very impressed by him and would certainly recommend him as an agent.

We have recently carried out extensive improvements to the property and requested that Waterfords provide us with a current valuation. Not all estate agents are the same!

We bought our house in 2009 and, having done some extensive work to it, asked Waterfords to come and give us a revaluation. Darren did just that today. He couldn't have been more professional and courteous and, bearing in mind he knew that we had no intention of selling in the foreseeable future, he still spent some considerable time with us discussing our property fully, explaining everything clearly and in detail. When we do eventually sell our property, there is only one estate agent we would consider using and that is Waterfords. As the title of this review states, not all estate agents are the same and I would not hesitate to recommend this friendly and trustworthy company.

When you know you've got it right!!

The team at Waterfords are all equally as professional as each other and operate at a high standard in meeting the customers needs. I found that there was a constant open communication amongst the team which made dealing with individual members easy as they each knew where we were at every step of the selling process regarding the property,I was offered advise and support throughout the process as I found it sometimes challenging to deal with some of the emotional aspects viewings can evoke. The team were extremely sympathetic with the difficulties buying and selling in the area posed and have been able to explain effectively the different approaches there are and using their experiences which ones have the best outcomes. I would recommend Waterfords to anyone about to embark on finding a knew home.

An impressive mixture of dinamism and diligence

It was obvious from the beginning that there were going to be many problems in selling the house I had inherited, I had already had valuation reports from 3 recommended estate agents but the decision to approach Waterfords' Fleet office for yet another was an inspirational decision, for which I was later to be congratulated. Their Branch Manager, Ms. Charity Holden, created an excellent impression from the start and, although it was obvious that there would be a long delay before the property might be ready for probate, she would contact me from time to time with an offer or a suggestion and, when the moment arrived, there was no doubt in my mind that she .be given the opportunity to sell it. Which she and her expert sales staff did in just 4 days, going on to undertake the swift and successful sale of my own buyer's property. The ins and outs of the complicated negotiations were finally undertaken with speed and diligence by young Ms. Emma Holland, their Senior Property Consultant, who steered us all through the numerous (and often knotty) problems, combining friendliness, tact and persuasion with firm dexterity. The whole operation was a tour de force, and I could not be more glowing in my appreciation of the hard work put in on my behalf.

We had an excellent experience with Waterfords when discussing the potential to place our house on the market. Very supportive & patient team

We sold our property with Waterfords with no onward purchase and to first time buyers, so no chain. At first during we felt that we weren't getting enough viewings and that the advice given about fees wasn't very helpful. It was just weeks before brexit vote so maybe that played a role in the low volumes. However, we did get an offer and as soon as we accepted they were fantastic! What should have been an easy, hassle-free no chain sale turned into 5 months of constantly chasing the buyer and their solicitor and towards the end of the transaction emotions were high, but Charity and Daniel never wavered! They kept us updated all of the time, chased on our behalf endlessly and were always very patient with us when we chased everyday. A really customer focused service and supportive team. We wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Extremely bad experience

Dealing with Waterfords was an experience which I would not like to ever experience again. Their inability to communicate between one office to the other ended up costing us money and we lost our first purchase as a result. We were told that we were holding up the process so we hounded our solicitors and managed to get ready to exchange only to find out that the bottom of the chain was nowhere near ready, Waterfords were selling the bottom of the chain from a different office. A few more weeks past and in turned out that the bottom of the chain were not a secure buyer. This should have been checked out at the very start of the procedure. Not only was this particularly stressful for both us and the sellers it cost us a lot of money in terms of surveys and mortgage evaluations etc. We have now finally exchanged on a different property, but even this experience has been handled poorly. Right down to receiving a call from Waterfords on the day of exchange saying that the bottom of the chain have not had cleared funds, luckily my solicitor had called me 5mins before telling my that we are all ready to go. Again, when we finally decided to continue to search for a new property after losing the first one (due to Waterfords mis management of the whole process) and found our new property we were told that the bottom of the chain were first time buyers only to discover (upon our first exchange date) that this wasn't the case and in fact the buyers were remortgaging their current property to buy our buyers property and low and behold (after being hounded again from waterfords to ensure we were ready to exchange) the funds were not cleared in time for the original exchange date. We feel thoroughly let down and lied to by Waterfords which has not only cost us a significant amount of money but it has also been incredibly stressful.
