George, Ollie & the team at Waterfords Chobham, have been nothing but professional in the handling of the sale of our property - all viewings were accompanied by one of them or an equally knowledgeable member of the Waterfords team. We were kept up to date with all appointments & received useful feedback from the viewings. We now wait to see how smoothly the next steps in the process is handled. We have accepted a very good offer and this was dealt with in a timely & professional manner - the paperwork is proceeding so we cannot comment on the complete experience yet, but if it is handled in the same professional way then we will be delighted.

We were introduced to a property to buy by Waterford’s. We were shown round by Oliver Manning, who could not have been more helpful. He answered every one of our questions clearly and accurately. He allowed my wife and I to examine the property keeping silence as we did so. He did not over egg the place. He came with a well prepared hand written hard copy of not only the e-version as available on line but also information on eg the boundary ownership ; date built : conservation area designation and TPOs. Well done to Oliver - our offer has now been accepted, in no small part by his professional attitude.

Incompetent liars

As a potential tenant, my experience with Waterfords began quite well. They were in reliable communication and I had a move in date quickly set. 3 days before this move in date however, I received an email stating that the landlord had pulled out. Through emails and calls, the explanation for this didn't add up. Matthew Blackman claimed this was due to my employment situation, something that was always transparent with the landlord and estate agent throughout the whole process. This had not changed before, during or after the offer was made and accepted.Days later, I discover through the same landlord that pulled out, he had pulled out because Waterfords had made a clerical error, whereby they listed my guarantor as the own landlords wife. This was never the case. Rightly so, the landlord ceased business with Waterfords Estate Agents which unfortunately left me in the lurch, at a loss of money and home to move in to 3 days before my scheduled move in date.Their error left me without a home and they didn't even have the decency to tell me the real reason why this happened.Edit - In response to your reply, your lettings team has NOT attempted to contact me regarding my issue once.

Another estate agent discriminating against the poor and disabled

Another lot who shouldn't be trading. I've seen yet another advert discriminating against the disabled and poor. The rental house is £1,400 a month which equals £16,800 for 12 months yet they are dictating and saying they want me to get £42,000 for 12 months. Now how can a stupid estate agent dictate and assume the rest of my outgoing costs are going to equal near to £25,200!? I don't think I've known anyone so stupid as Waterfords in Fleet. They do this to discriminate and single out the disabled and poor in not so many words because they don't want anybody on benefits renting their managed houses. They can't indirectly say benefits not accepted because it's illegal so they use this stupid way to tell you how much you should get a year!! I hope this company goes out of business.
