GoogleGreat experience with SouthernBrook! Very fast and trustworthy company. Josh the manager helped me and my three other house mates in finding an house within a day. Alice who took us around the house was kind and very knowledgeable of the area and help us with all questions asked. Would definitely recommend especially if you are a student who doesn’t know too much about finding student houses.

GoogleThey refused to register a Ukrainian friend because her income didn’t meet a certain threshold. This effectively discriminates against anyone on housing benefits or with a low income. Avoid.

Dear Lindsay, Thank you for your review, but I cannot find you anywhere on our system so unsure as to which property or office you are referring to. We house many ukrainian tenants and have worked with him over the past few years to help as much as we can. Please feel free to call me on 01243 815995 to discuss this issue as we will of course help if we can, but tenants have to be able to pass referencing checks as they would with any agent.

After spending a couple of months back in with the parents which was fine at the time we decided we needed to get our own place again because being at home at 30 isn't cool. We approached Southernbrooks and Josh looked after us. Really helpful fella, knows his stuff and the local area really well. Took us through the process from start to finish and even anything we needed after it was no hassle for him and just made the whe process so much easier and less stressful. GoogleLived in a property managed by Southernbrookes for 9 months. When we moved in our home was in a state, heating didn't work, door handles were falling off, and it was overall disgusting. These issues were all fixed either by myself or after flagging them. However it should not have been in such an appealing. Onditio. When I moved in, especially since they stated they would spend a week ensuring the property was a good standard. Some windows were cracked and others couldn't be closed, despite Informing sounternbrookes these issues were never resolved. After a nightshift Workman pushed their way into my home, despite me denying them access when I hadn't received prior warning - as we were told we would always receive. I'm a young female, the men who let themselves into my space didn't respect a word i had to say relating to the circumstances stances of the situation and the lack for warning I had received.
