Disappointing Service

We are asked Frank Innes to find us tenants for our Mum & Dad’s property, we paid them to do the check-in report and they recommended their deposit scheme (zero deposits). Again, we paid them to do the check-out inspection and report when the tenants left. There was over £3000 of damage and they put the claim into their deposit scheme with all the estimates for repairs. Their deposit scheme paid out £75, less the 3% value of the claim. We wrote to Frank Innes and stated we were extremely disappointed how they handled the claim through the deposit scheme and asked them to take actions to recover the full cost for the repairs. One month on and no reply from them, my email was just ignored. Absolutely terrible service from them and their deposit scheme.

When purchasing our new house, we used an incentive scheme which automatically chose the best two estate agents in the area to sell my house in Chesterfield. FrankInnes was one of the selected estate agents. Within the first week, we had viewings booked in. Within six weeks we had numerous viewings and the property was sold. The other estate agent who the house was also listed with, got us zero viewings and had no contact with us. FrankInnes pushed extremely hard for our sale, they had signs outside the house quickly and professional photos taken. The staff were extremely responsive (in particular Sarah, Rishi and April) and kept us updated at every opportunity. They even recommended a fantastic mortgage advisor (Mark from Country Wide) who I highly recommend. Overall, the service was brilliant from start to finish, they were informative, helpful, polite and honest. We are currently selling our property with Frank Innes and to date we are extremely impressed with their service. Everyone has been friendly, polite, courteous and professional throughout. We have been kept in the loop the whole time. When we decided to sell we rang Frank Innes up at approx 9.30am one morning and Sarah was there by 12 noon the same day. We had 4 viewings before it even went on the market and was sold within about 10 days. Fingers crossed everything else with the sale goes as smoothly. Both of them understand that the finer details of a property matter as does having a good knowledge of an area. Lovely property that I rented for over…

Lovely property that I rented for over a year. Thank goodness I got to know who the rental was from. Service was shocking took them an age to sort basic hot water out ended up sorting it myself with agreement from the actual landlord. Now I’ve moved out making claims from the zero deposit company that the landlord has suggested not to. Worst company to rent from so good luck if you have to use them.

After purchasing our first home and enjoying a few years living in the Chesterfield area my husband was posted away, so we made the hard decision to move altogether and let our first family home. Originally, we approached a different company due to having no experience with letting, but the house remained up for rent for several months with no interest. In desperate need of a quick rental, and only two weeks before moving we found Phoebe from Frank Innes lettings department. Phoebe was amazing. The house was put up for rent with Frank Innes that same day and unbelievably we received an abundance of interest, the house was let before we moved. Not only did Frank Innes let our house with efficiency, using in-depth checks and putting together correct contracts, our much loved property was well looked after the whole time we lived in a different part of the country. To add to all of this, we have decided to put the same house up for sale, which Frank Innes will also be taking care of. We are only just in the beginning stages, but Libby from the sales department has been wonderful, very understanding and efficient. Having to move in a hurry following a Landlords decision to sell, we had anticipated a hard time getting sorted. Due to historic business issues, credit referencing was challenging but made easier by great communication by Phoebe. Absolutely fantastic. I have dealt mainly with Matt, Luke and Jake whose customer service has been exceptional. So as a Property Developer I would say I understand the game very well, however there is a BIG difference in the game, and the market? Don't get me wrong I had a few agents out to give me there assessment on this property. By far the duo team Niamh, and Beth at Frank innes were exceptional in every way. They had great knowledge on demographics, and gave me some really good ideas on how to maximise my rental returns. These two are the type ladies that every landlord needs to manage there rentals. They are honest, fair, not pushy, and very genuine.

I am writing this review both as a landlord and as a potential buyer of another property.Frankinnes has been managing my property for the past two years, and I see the level of service they give for the exorbitant prices they charge is very poor when compared to other agencies who charge a fraction of this charge, but provide much more. A basic thing, I never get anyone to pick the phone in their branch if I need something. Is this a big ask?Recently a property had come for sale, and I wanted to have a viewing. I have managed to speak to the agent dealing with this property for a viewing, and have also emailed her more than four times for a viewing, and a date and time was confirmed through phone. But exact details like the actual address, and confirmation of the viewing has n ot been sent yet even after continuous phone calls and emails.Avoid this company like a plague!!!
