I have contacted them to rent a flat on a like a Saturday afternoon 3pm, they forced me to pay a holding feel otherwise they will not accept the application. I have changed my mind after literally one second. they said the money is non refundable.so i asked them to transfer the holding fee to another property,. they refused.i even suggest refunding part of that money. they refused..bearing in mind, they did zero effort. they acted very unprofessional way, unethical way.they are the worse people ever. do not work with them. very unprofessional.all what they care about how money they can steal from you.

Discusting customer service

Absolute discusting way of treating people!! Natalie at Chesterfield branch no customer service what's so ever. After leaving the house we rented we couldn't get a company to do a "deep" clean on the house. And we couldn't cut the grass due to snow. We were treated like the worst people in the world. And we received a rude email from Natalie. It's taken months and months to apparently get quotes for stuff. Seems like the go to extremes to take all your money off you so you get no bond back. Would never use Frank Innes again if that's how you get spoken to

Added to the stress of moving

Moving day. They didn’t call me back to say how to get the keys for my new house. The chain almost collapsed. Utter incompetence and no apology. I’d never use an extortionate high street estate agent when online ones provide a better service for a fraction of the price! It’s stressful enough moving as it is. Terrible communications.

God awful

God awful! My husband put an offer in on a property, in excess of the asking price. To be told the vendor would prefer a cash buyer. It didn't say this in the listing and he even spoke to the estate agent and they never said this. My husband drove 2 hours to view this property. The estate agent said they would tell the vendor of our offer and get back to us. 3 days later, still not heard anything back so I put in a request to view the property to receive a phone call saying it had been sold, they never even told us our offer had been rejected. Rude imbeciles, need to be more transparent about things

Avoid! Dangerous and lazy

Avoid! I am not one to ever write reviews but for the sake of future customers- This agency neglects all duty of care for tenants and represents illegal landlords. Even in the light of blatant law breaking from a ‘self managing’ landlord they represent, (including a burst heating pipe for months causing additional issues such as flooding and damp), intimidation and bullying, the agency did nothing. In addition they sold the property incorrectly at the beginning of the lease, failing to disclose points of interest requested by the landlord to be passed on to prospective tenants. They also made errors in the contract. Just avoid at all costs, there are some fantastic, impartial but supportive agencies in Chesterfield, this is not one of them.

Lack communication

Applied for property on the Saturday morning gave all the relevant info over the phone was told they had 1 applicant already. I was asked if I could could cut short my camping trip to get back on the Sunday afternoon for a viewing after 3.30. He said he would call me back with more info.Not a word! blanked my phone calls to the mobile he rang me off. I rang back Monday morning to be told it was let and they had had 6 applications. I was told only myself and 1 other on Saturday??When did these people have viewings?? The office is closed Sundays? Something not quite right here. Very unprofessional no communication or honesty.

Series of issues

Like many others, if I could give zero stars I would - if only I had listened! A brief run down of my issues to date..-late payment of rent, twice! Only came to my account after I chased it many times-initially refused to do a property visit during covid, despite offering to come and produce a video tour if I wanted to resign with them with new tenants-no response for 2 weeks when I asked for a call back from the branch manager (had to ask 3 times!)-and the latest… they’ve lost the spare key to the property. They refused to admit they had it (I have an email train to the contrary). I asked to speak to the branch manager, but he’s on holiday and there’s no one higher than him to talk to apparentlyAgain, like others, I have received compensation for previous issues, but nothing seems to have changed.I can only hope you don’t ignore the many many negative reviews like I did. I was better off without an agent to manage the property…

Keep Clear! Theres a load of better estate agents.

Say they'll keep you updated and call back - still waiting for this. Dont bother to let you know the outcome of your application and the only way you know if it was successful is by checking their website and seeing the property is now let agreed. Dont respond to emails and their online chat option is full of incompetent staff with attitudes "I can send you a complaint form if you feel its necessary". Not sure where or how you were trained to deal with customers/clients, but you need a refresher. Abysmal company. Will not apply for a property linked to Frank Innes ever again.
