GoogleThe broker Jon was great but the rest of the staff are incompetent, slow and lack communication with each other which nearly lost us the house we were buying through them. They also lost track of the keys which cost us call out charges from workers we had booked in, Swetenhams refused to compensate us for these charges. Expect terrible service.

GoogleAbsolutely staggered at the dishonest practice of this agency. We rented a home for a year, it was very grubby at move in, carpets and decor were shabby too. A previous tenant called by to see if we had any mail an informed us of the shoddy way he was treated when trying to get his deposit back. Claiming hundreds of pounds for paint damage "repair" on the walls, he pointed out to us. It had not been repaired either and was only a lick of paint. So we were bracing ourselves when we handed back the keys. It was cleaned and steam cleaned to pristine condition however we were presented with the same hundreds of pounds bill this time for 'cleaning' 5 weeks after we handed our keys back. We had previously discussed our concerns and awareness of this practice of false claims on security deposit with our agent and assured this was nothing to be concerned about when he came for a pre termination tour, he commented that the home was in exceptional condition. Would not recommend this company as a rental agent, they are full of BS and out to con you for every penny they can, TOTALLY UNSCRUPULOUS.

GoogleVery very unreliable, from a seller and a buyers side. Left my deceased relatives house unlocked after a viewing, and lost the keys. No apologies From agency, had to go to head office. And also dragged a sale out, we were purchasing, for us to pay fee's and them to put back on the market again with out informing us. Mortgage advisor Charles dragged the process out, fed us lies for months and months, had mortgage approved elsewhere a whole year after by another company that only took weeks to process.

GoogleI didn’t buy or sell with with Swetenhams. I had an appraisal by them which involved them just asking me what I wanted to list for, literally. They then used a neighbours house in their sales pitch claiming to have sold the house even though Swetenhams didn’t sell the house, and without the homeowners permission or knowledge they were using it. I also spoke with a mortgage advisor and when I tried to contact them by email and called to proceed with a BTL we discussed I couldn’t get hold of him no matter how many times I tried. I’m leaving a review as I now get unsolicited texts (that I can’t text back to stop) from them asking me to call them about marking my home because either the price is up or someone’s interested or whatever hook.
