Highly recommend Paul Wallace- exemplary service

I contacted Paul Wallace after having listed my property on the market with another agent who I was less than impressed with. From day one the service was miles ahead of what I had previously received with the other local agent. Paul Wallace’s experience and local knowledge stood out, along with their marketing and within one week my property was sold at full asking price. The whole buying/ selling process was handled exceptionally, we had a complicated chain and was against the deadline for stamp duty holiday. Joe went above and beyond to help ensure that the sale went through within the timescales we needed, picking up the slack that some other agents in the chain were not doing. I cannot thank them enough for all their help and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to sell their property. If you want an estate agent that actually cares and knows what they are doing, then definitely use Paul Wallace.

Have just moved into our new house after selling through Paul Wallace, we have dealt with jon quy throughout the process who was absolutely fantastic in assisting us with our move; he was always there to answer any questions or queries regardless of what time of night it may have been. Sadly, didn't appear to have any interest in selling a house

Recently called into the Cheshunt branch of this "local "estate agent to ask what the current commission fees are as we are planning to put our property on the market in April (incidentally bought through Paul Wallace some years ago). The office was completely empty except for about 4 staff members glued to their computers. One man looked up, my wife politely asked what their current fees are. With a good amount of disinterest he said "1 and a quarter" she asked if that was sole agency and he said "yes" then she asked how much for joint agency and he said "1 and a half" End of conversation. No further conversation was invited, he didn't ask if we had a property to sell, if we would like a valuation or anything else. Clearly there must be a huge boom in the area we have no knowledge of and they are not interested in selling any more properties. We were quite taken aback by the attitude of the gentleman we spoke to and felt so uncomfortable we felt too embarassed by the abruptness of the situation to ask for a valuation. It left us with a very poor impression. What a shame. Won't be selling through Paul Wallace. Have looked at some of the other glowing reviews and wonder how "genuine" they are following our poor experience.

Quite simply, only use this estate agent when moving in or out of this area!Firstly, thank you Joe and Peter at the Hoddesdon branch.Paul Wallace were the estate agents used by the vendor of the house that we recently purchased, that means they did not work on our behalf, but they supported us on a DAY BY DAY BASIS and surpassed all of our expectations.Communication, honesty, transparency, building relationships, trustworthiness - absolutely second to none.Lastly, whoever their boss is, I'm sure you know that they are worth their weight in gold, give them a raise - they are irreplaceable!

Massive thank you to Joe at the Hoddesdon branch who was so professional, efficient and knowledgeable throughout the process of our house purchase. Nothing was ever too much trouble and he would always be in contact with us with updates. We never had to chase him for information despite other parties in the chain being shockingly slow. Joe would always follow up and report back to us. My husband and I were really impressed with how our purchase was dealt with from initial contact through to completion. We would not hesitate to recommend Paul Wallace, they definately are not your ‘typical’ estate agents. Thanks Joe!

During what has been a torrid year, Paul Wallace managed to deliver on selling our flat! We had the pleasure of working alongside Joe, who was incredibly helpful and caring throughout the whole process, (which, through no fault of our own, was certainly NOT an easy experience, given the trouble Covid has caused!) We've just exchanged contracts and completed the purchase of our property and I can't thank and recommend Paul Wallace enough! They are the most professional, genuine and efficient agents we've used so far. We wanted to move in before Christmas and everyone in the office, especially Joe, pulled out all the stops to make sure this happened (all in less than a time span of 8 week!). From beginning to end, Joe was professional; he kept us up-to-date with any progress (even if it was a courtesy call to say that he tried to get through to the solicitors and are waiting for a call back from them), and recommended using a solicitor and broker that we found to be highly experienced experts in their field. Even on his days off, he would still answer our emails and ensure that his colleagues were up-to-date with our case so that they could help us contact the solicitors and resolve any queries we had if he wasn't available. We are absolutely over the moon to have moved in before Christmas with very little stress throughout the whole process - and this is all thanks to Joe and his colleagues at Paul Wallace! I have just completed on my property sale after being on the market during a very slow period of sales. My contact at PW estate agents in Hoddesdon was Mr Jordan Falcao and from the moment my property was put up for sale he has been a true professional at his job. Despite the market being very quiet, and one failed sale during this time, Jordan has been very positive that with a few adjustments to the photos and recommendations on sale price there would be a greater interest. As it was, he was 100% correct and viewings increased despite the market still being slow and Brexit seeming to take its toll. All in all, Jordan had complete knowledge in how the market was affecting the sales in the area and what was best for me in achieving the sale. I found Jordan to be available at any time I had reason to contact him. He was the man who knew what was happening between seller, buyer and solicitors. He was there to explain any query i had no matter how small. His liaising between all of us helped answer any question as to where or what was happening during the course of the sale. A must for anyone in my position to ease any worries I may have had about the process. It would also be fair to say that Jordan's colleagues in the Hoddesdon branch were just as helpful in his absence. All in all, I would highly recommend Paul Wallace estate agents (Hoddesdon) to anyone in the area who is looking to buy or sell property. Make these guys your first port of call !

Popped into Paul Wallace several times for advice and info before putting my house up for sale. I recognised Paul, who sold me my house and who is now one of the co-owners, I saw him several times there late afternoons and evenings. Seemed clear to me that he had a handle on what was happening with a hands-on approach. I have found in the past where the owner(s) have a hands-on approach it is generally good sign that it is a well-run business. I found all the staff very friendly and helpful, they aim and care about offering a service. When ringing them the calls were normally answered within a few rings, on the few occasions it went to voice mail, they called me back within minutes. Would not have thought you could use the word professional to describe an estate agent, but you really can for Paul Wallace. As time passed, with my problems elsewhere, I came to appreciate more and more just how good Paul Wallace are. I would like to give many thanks to all the staff for the sale of my property with an extra special thanks to Joe who was my contact person through the transaction and for all the work he did. Overall I have found Paul Wallace to be competent, efficient and professional and can highly recommend them. I would give them a 5+ star rating if the option was there.

I've worked with Paul Wallace twice…

I've worked with Paul Wallace twice now, for my recent sale and my previous purchase and have to say they are the best agent I have worked with. I'd never go anywhere else. In particular Joe has been vital in getting both my sale and purchase through and is always there to help and push whatever is needed and when as well as talk through any concerns or issues. I've had lots of issues and problems to work through on both my moves and couldn't have got it all sorted without Paul Wallace and Joe! Thanks also to Peter who has been great.
