Totally manipulating the applicants. Before viewing mentioned about two tenants and the staff arranged the viewing. Now they are telling me they can’t allow two tenants.

The sale of my house took place during very difficult circumstances as the U.K. AND ISLE Of MAN were in lock down during different periods during the sale process .I couldn’t visit the property. The property had been rented with Gascoigne Halman for 12 Year before I sold it . The asking price was set at a good level the brochure was produced in a couple of daysand the sale proceeded well .The first buyers who bought the house within days they couldn’t get the mortgage they needed so the house went back on the market and sold again within a relatively short period of time in 5 months Oct to March the whole process was completed.I was kept up to date with emails and phone calls every time there was a viewingI had dealings with mainly one sales person James but when he was off others kept me informed Sue the sales secretary was also good at answering queries connected with the sales process. As I was at a distance I used a solicitor recommended by GH and was pleased with there services I also used an insurance company that was local.During the cold spell when prospective buyers visited James made sue the house was warm enough to prevent issues with burst pipes I was also alerted to problems with the loft door and garage door and was then able to use GH property maintenance to solve several issues.I think James gave the sale a personal touchFor me the all round service GH provided was very helpful in difficult working circumstances .I am very pleased with the outcome and would recommend them

They say moving house is one of the most stressful things you can do in life and whilst this was definitely true for us, our experience was made less stressful by dealing with Lucy at the Wilmslow branch. Her professionalism was second to none. The purchase nearly fell through on a couple of occasions but Lucy really went to bat for us going over and above to ensure the purchase went ahead. The after sales service received was also fantastic. I can't recommend Gascoigne Halman enough and especially Lucy.

Frances Mason used our family to pump up other offers for the seller. She confirmed after a long and arduous process we'd had our offer accepted. She then encouraged the vendor and buyers carry on viewings in our opinion to gazump us. She knowing didn't send out a memorandum of sale to us for 5 days whilst getting other parties to outbid us. After we paid for searches etc Frances informed us someone had come in with another bid.......from there played us off as an auction for bidding. Then told us we didn't get the house. The next day it was put as STC for the other buyer. Something she refused to do for us in 5 days. She openly admitted on the phone she knew of another bid hence when she didn't do the memorandum of sale.She let us pay for searches while using us a pawn. It was absolutely the worst experience I've ever had with any kind of company. There was no remorse and I don't know how she sleeps at night for a little but extra of commission.Openly trying to get improved offers and more viewing whilst sending us acceptance confirmation and letting us pay fees is a very very underhanded trick.

What went wrong? Well I was advised by this agency that the property had come off the market once my holding deposit was paid. Upon submitting my credentials for referencing which was with let alliance, I was advised by "Charlotte" a representative at Gascoigne Halman that the landlord has gone with another offer and would rather refund my holding deposit then proceed with my application. Honestly Disappointed with the service provided by this agency. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND GOING WITH THIS AGENCY

GoogleIt was pleasure dealing with Heather right from moving into to we asking to leave the contract mid way due to husbands work. An absolute pleasure dealing with her. Never seen a person from letting agent in the rental department being so helpful and kind. She was always easy to communicate and helped me every time I had a problem and she never said a no. From my past experience generally the letting agents tend not to help nor go out of their way even when they can help. But with Heather Wynn it was different she wasn’t over professional and never spoke to us in legal terms but was kind and was working with us on a humanitarian grounds understanding our situation. In today’s day and age where all the letting agents are bully, don’t have heart to listen to someone’s problem, are not considerate, their don’t care attitude and zero customer services I have had horrible experiences over the years with loads of letting agents, Heather Wynn definitely was an exception. Do not deal with anyone else when Heather is away but only deal with Heather Wynn from Gascoigne Halman WILMSLOW branch and you will know it yourself when you deal with her that how nice she is. Good luck and pleasure dealing with you. Also for the readers who go by reviews please read the following to- DO NOT DEAL WITH their next door letting agents JORDAN FISHWICK AS THEY MISUSED THE PURPOSE OF SECTION 20 NOTICE JUST NOT TO CARRY MAJOR MAINTENANCE ISSUE WHERE THE WATER FROM BATHROOM WAS LEAKING THROUGH THE KITCHEN CEILING TO THE POINT PLASTER STARTED FALLING & the letting agent who showed us around only made false promises only not to abide by them and get their property rented. CHEAP RENTING TACTICS THEY FOLLOW. ALSO THEY CARRY OUT FRAUDULENT EPC. BEWARE FROM FRAUDSTERS LIKE THEM.

GoogleThe quickest and most efficient letting experience I've ever had. From viewing the property to receiving the keys in under two weeks. Sam was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. I would definitely use Gascoigne Halman again!

GoogleMoving house is always a stressful time but Gascoigne Halman in Wilmslow made the whole process so much more simple. Viewings with them were easy to arrange and viewing staff always on time. We received regular contact from the Manager Marcus who and Sales Manager Lewis who worked hard to find us the right property. They never sent us to inappropriate properties to make up the viewing numbers which we found other agents did. Once we found the right property, Lucy took over and was an absolute gem keeping the process moving. Any lack of action from solicitors, buyers or sellers, even several steps down the chain was pounced on and dealt with. Even in the closing stages, Lucy and Marcus helped shepherd the deal to a close and help keep the chain alive when the solicitors appeared to have gone to sleep on the job. Would definitely deal with them again!

Dominic who ultimately sold the house very quickly, I can’t recommend highly enough, he’s very calm, knowledgable and a pleasure to deal with. We not hesitate to sell our next property with Dominic and the team.

Very good when dealing with renting out a property. Great, fast communications, friendly service. However, managing the property is below par. I have to chase up things and still waiting for a contractor re heating in the freezing temperatures.

We were delighted with Gascoigne Halman’s service, when buying a property through them. They always went over and above. In fact I think our purchase might have fallen through but they kept it all on the rails. We will sell our house with them if we ever move. Dominic is fantastic. He always knew everything about the chain, and did loads to keep it all moving forward.

Very disappointed with customer service. Found the staff to be really unhelpful. As a cash buyer had been keen to purchase a property for my daughter and disappointed to learn the property we had secured was taken off the market. Tried to found out why and if there were any other similar properties available through the branch and got absoutley no help from them. Sent a polite message to the manager with honest feedback and requested that he give me a quick call to discuss - 2 weeks later and havent heard back from him. Will now never use Gasgoigne Halman again and recomend other agents who have a little more time and respect for their customers
