List bait properties that are no longer available and continually fail to return calls over a number of weeks, despite multiple commitments 'to come right back' when followed up. The Dfferent excuses provided each time. Serious question marks re: the ethics of this place, and that's before we get on to their complete lack of basic professionalism. As a buyer I would not consider buying anywhere listed by this lot, even if I really liked the place... plenty of other professional outfits that do manage basic things like returning calls etc out there. Potential buyers and sellers beware. AVOID.

We sold our house in MK via Brown and Merry in Newport Pagnell. They offered us a good deal and got the property sold for the full asking price within a few days. We had been with an online estate agent and had to use their solicitors and after 12 weeks the sale fell though because of the solicitors were rubbish. So we were very worried about the whole process starting again. These worried proved unfounded. We are in the process of buying another house and happen to be buying a house with the same company Jones and Chapman in Wallasey. Although It is too early to rate them so far so good. Both have been very helpful and allowed us to submit our ID at the MK branch to save us a long drive.

The Leighton Buzzard branch of Brown and Merry's is shockingly bad. The staff take days to respond to emails and then only give one sentence responses when they do and ignore half of your queries. They never return calls when the say they will. Then when you call them they are usually busy or away from their desk. If you finally get hold of them they say they'll do something for you then never follow up phone calls with any action or email confirmation or information they promised they would send over to you like links, numbers, documents etc. It feels like banging your head against a wall. They make doing their own job seem like they're doing you a huge favour and that is never a good thing. Just don't go there.

GoogleI used Ben as my mortgage broker as a first time buyer and he was absolutely amazing. Went above and beyond. Didn't just sort out my mortgage but explained the whole house buying process to me. Always responded to emails really quickly. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

I cannot recommend Brown and Merry's mortgage services enough! Loren Telford who is the Mortgage services manager helped me with my Buy to let Mortgage and is absolutely brilliant, she knows her job inside out, goes above and beyond to deliver. If it wasn't for Loren, I wouldn't of been able to get this buy to let property that I've just purchased. she's amazing and I highly recommend her services to anyone.

GoogleRecently had a Valuation with Tom. Found him extremely transparent and informative. Also loved visiting the branch as everyone is so friendly and helpful. When we sell I will definitely be in touch with him and the team again. Cannot rate them highly enough!!

TrustpilotMK branch are the worst.
MK branch will require you to work with their mortgage advisor in order to view or make offers for their listings. Most agencies will ask you if you want that and probably will give advantages for those who do so, but specifically asking you to do that over the phone and lie to say the vendor wants that specifically, that's just utterly disgusting.

Couldn't get anything right no matter how patient we were and they couldn't care less. Wasted three weeks for nothing and the manager couldn't even be bothered to reply to my emails or make amends in person when i went to get my key back. Don't remember the last time i've left a review like this. Clearly so much work on they dont have to care about their clients.Hemel Hempstead Branch

He was supportive and was always available to talk.
