Why didn't we deal with them sooner??? Estate agencies and in particular some agents tend to have a particular reputation so it is a nice surprise to say I only have positive comments about Vanessa and Brigitte. On our first meeting with Vanessa, we were shown a house that wasn't quite right, however the real value came because she listened to the brief and then came back to us with a some properties that were absolutely spot on. Brigitte took over the reigns at this point, showed us around and was personable, professional plus most importantly prompt(!), taking ownership of all aspects of the purchase right through to completion. The most important differentiator is that both Vanessa and Brigitte actually worked hard to make sure the sales took place, rather than just showing us around and seeing if we were interested. If you are in the process of looking to sell and are unsure where to go, I would thoroughly recommend speaking to Brigitte or Vanessa. We didn't ask Charles Lear to value our house for sale because we (mistakenly) believed they only dealt with ultra-high priced homes however with the benefit of hindsight and a very poor experience with another agency, we definitely wish we had.PositiveQuality, Professionalism

Dan at Charles Lear has been a real pleasure to work with over the last 4 months. From showing us the property we ended up purchasing, through to ‘Completion’ today, he has been without doubt one of the friendliest, professional, reliable and trustworthy agents we have dealt with in London or Cheltenham. This made all the difference since our move was from London to Cheltenham. Dan took the time to understand the obstacles we faced through the process, and worked with us as well as his seller to overcome them and really understand things from our perspective, not just his sellers perspective. Dan really made a huge difference to our move, not only ensuring we secured our house, but also making it a much less stressful process - as a result, we would certainly engage Dan and Charles Lear if/when we enter the market again. We are thrilled to have completed on our new home. It took a lot of searching for! The team at Charles Lear were all extremely courteous and personable in supporting us through the viewing, bidding and final buying process. It was slightly complex in that the previous owner had died, and executors had been appointed. Because of its popularity, the property went to sealed bids. We were very reassured by Daniel Lloyd's professionalism. He responded to all communication very promptly, liaised efficiently with all parties and pursued any apparent hold ups to encourage the process along. An excellent service
