GoogleWe had Tom at Charles Lear come to value our property but ended up placing our home with a different agent, the agent we were buying our ongoing house with. Retrospectively looking back, Tom’s knowledge of the marketplace, understanding of our property and past performance within our area proved our decision not to go with them, a mistake. I have confidence that if we had used them, we would have had a lot smoother transaction and realised a higher sale price. Even though I didn’t use them, Tom has stayed in touch and offered helpful guidance. I couldn't recommend them more.

GoogleCharles Lear and co, recently handled the sale of our period thatched property. They took over from one of the national chains who had failed to secure a buyer. In the current market the demand for such houses is limited to a relatively small number of buyers who seek this kind of home. The team were very switched on to this and quickly introduced a number of suitable buyers resulting in the sale. The whole process was handled in an efficient, professional and friendly manner and we are very happy to recommend them as agents. They are big enough to deal nationally but small enough to offer a bespoke service.

In spite of some issues along the line which were really out of the agents control she worked incredibly hard to solve the problems and ensure that we could complete both purchases. I would recommend this Estate Agent very highly.
