GoogleWe are due to move out on 16th January 2018 and paid our rent in advance. They sent a letter on 14th December 2018 advising us that the balance due between the 17th December to 17th January was £0.00, but 2 weeks later received various emails advising us we are in arrears!!!! There excuse was it was an error on their behalf but must still be paid. Bearing in mind we paid a month in advance. Staff are extremely rude and clearly the people working there have no idea what they are doing. Obviously employing a load of morons with no experience. Made a formal complaint and still await a response as they also lost our tenancy agreement that was required for our new rental property!!! Raised a compliant on 18th December 2018 and still await a response! Compliant has also be copied to the ombudsmen who is monitoring the situation and will be calling me tomorrow. Any landlords looking to use the company I would advise against as our current landlord has also been formally complaining with no success. Should be shut down if you ask me.

GoogleI bought through William H Brown, Chelmsford and am now using their rental service. I've used several estate agents and rental services before as a landlord, and can confidently say William H Brown have been by far the best. Agathe is really good - found me lovely tenants within a week and achieved over the asking price. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

GoogleFrom the very first meeting Lee Dillon and Ash Moakes have been professional and supportive. Their valuation was the highest of three estate agents and more importantly was achieved. GoogleDo not use William H Brown lettings Chelmsford as you’ll find your family and yourselves homeless….. Placed a holding deposit 2 months ago, immediately after this any professionalism disappeared completely…. Moving in date pushed back a week, no response to emails or phone calls, colleagues promising messages to be past on didn’t happen….. Moving in date then just became irrelevant to William H Brown Lettings….. Removal Company booked, time taken off work and 5pm Friday absolutely no dialogue or communication for Mondays move…. Lots of other issues but as William H Brown aren’t the property managers it’s not Jamie Houses responsibility to make you aware of these problems and issues in a timely manner…. Safety, security and integrity issues that weren’t brought to market or disclosed…. Deceitful behaviour….

GoogleWilliam H brown at Chelmsford have been great. I first enquired on a property and was contacted by Bethan. She informed me the property was already gone, but listened to our needs and suggested another one to us. We went and visited and it couldn’t of been more perfect- it is exactly what we wanted. We had to say yes straight away! Bethan was brilliant. I then spoke with Agathe on the phone, who has also been my main point of contact over email since. She has been super helpful and answered all of my questions (no matter how many there were!) Overall a great service, with the process being clearly explained when asked. GoogleI have been using the lettings team at William H Brown Chelmsford office for many years and found them to be efficient, freindly and very competent when it comes to marketting properties in the Chelmsford area. There is a little star in the team named Beth Livings who always goes that extra mile to ensure both landlord and tenant are fully briefed both pre-viewing and post viewing with regular updates during her following up the appointment. Very pleasant on the phone and in person Beth always has a cheerful greating even at 09:00 hours on a Monday morning.

GoogleVery strange company. I wouldn’t trust them selling my house. I just had a viewing for tomorrow confirmed, property in question hasn’t sold yet after a few viewings but had some offers on the table and Emma told me that the offers were over the asking price as they listed the property too cheap (which I agreed with) and that I was prepared to go over the asking price and continue with the viewing as arranged. Just as I said that, I was put on hold and told by Emma no more viewings on this property. I would be extremely unhappy if I was the seller and my estate agent was turning away chain free sensible buyers. Property in question - tabors Ave Chelmsford.
