Shane has been an absolute pleasure to deal with. As first time buyers we had no idea what to expect, but from the start Shane kept us in the loop, took all our requirements on board and was always honest with us. Even if he didn’t have any properties that matched our criteria (and we had really specific needs) he’d still check in with us regularly which proved to us that we weren’t just a number and that he actually cared. My experience with Haart was great. I worked with Shannon who is absolutely fantastic and just a joy of an estate agent as well as person. She was very attentive, really listened for the things I was looking for and sent me great, relevant properties which I truly appreciated. I went for a viewing with her. She was very quick to get back to me on when I could view the property and answered all my questions and concerns when I was there. I never had trouble contacting her; as she was very responsive and extremely professional at all times. I constantly felt like the search for a property was in good, trustworthy hands. I'd like to provide a review of my experience of Haart Chelmsford (Letting) and specifically Danielle Lloyd. I reached out to a few agents in the area for a letting agent, and Danielle was the most proactive out of everyone. She was professional and friendly throughout. Very knowledgeable and came with a lot of helpful advice which I really appreciated. She offered to view my property on the day of completion (I had literally just bought the place) and remained proactive and responsive and even secured tenants based on a property that was rather run down at the time. Really impressed, and she followed through on her assurances that the property should let out easily. She added tons of value by giving handy pointers throughout the 6 weeks of vacancy. I could have gone anywhere else but I got on with Danielle, could see her hunger and drive, and it helped she lacked even the slightest bit of pushiness. In the end, she still got my business and she deserved it based on her patience and delicate balancing of the situation. This is exactly the way to do business. The above is how things should be but I think it's right I note down some bad experience of a staff member at the same branch. Shannon Oddy suddenly came into the picture (presumably as the tenant in question was sourced by her?). In any event, she made a really bad impression on me and this continued to get worse. Shannon was extremely pushy, rude and unprofessional throughout by short exposure to her. She accused me of accepting a deposit scheme when I hadn't, she failed to provide me with the written tenancy agreement and when I chased this it appeared I was massively inconveniencing her and she tried to hard sell me the fully managed package service, and before I could explain why I might not do that, she interrupted and went onto the rent collection service. Both occasions I said I'd like to think about it. If Shannon had dealt with things better or even differently she probably would have secured the extra commission and services - but I don't like doing business with people that behave the way Shannon did. She came across really patronising as well when I asked her to tell me anything else about the tenants that she could share (for my due diligence) - she laughed and said "what else would I like to know" (I literally just told her). However, the review about Shannon Oddy should have no reflection on Danielle Lloyd whatsoever. Danielle has assured me that my point of contact will be with her alone going forward which again is a great way to fix something that's gone wrong. I can see why Danielle is in management as she can seamlessly sell by tailoring the pitch to her audience. A huge asset to Haart!PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value
