FacebookThe firm Charles David Casson Estates truly demonstrates the advantages of dealing with a small, family-run estate agent. Neil and Matt Baldock offer a friendly and efficient service and will go out of their way to satisfy their clients. I discovered this recently, when it was necessary for me, as joint executor of my late father-in-Law's will, to sell a bungalow in Chelmsford. To start with, the company had a fair way of charging for a probate valuation. When it came to selling the bungalow, the process was unbelievably straightforward. It went on the market one day and was sold the next, without a reduction in price. As my wife and I didn’t live locally, the firm held the keys. Matt dealt with the viewings, provided access for the surveyor, etc, and kept us well informed along the way. The whole process was completed in a most efficient manner. I would certainly recommend Charles David Casson for property sales.

Worst experience ever. !The bulldog known as Matt is definitely in the wrong job. Chased us as if we were able to do anything faster than the solicitors. Every agent was rude ,ignorant and a noxious. When we needed something answered, emails got ignored. Sellers left house with holes in every room. Wires coming out of everywhere. Was told by the sellers they were going get cleaners in to clean before we move in the house! Was left in a tip. Looked like it didn't get cleaned in years.they Couldn't be bothered to even fill in the hole from where they're tumble dryer was. Never judge a book by the cover. Will remember this as I have just had a very expensive lesson.

GoogleI really did not want to write a negative review about a fellow Chelmsford company, especially in the current climate we are in. However, having given Charles David Casson the benefit of the doubt for 9 months, i have again today been fobbed off with a response, 'we will get back to you'. I completed work for Charles David Casson last year, and I'm yet to be paid for it. As a company, we have emailed frequently, spoken to Daniella personally and via email. My email address has now been blocked from both the general email address and the personal one from Daniella. We were advised that they paid a company with a very similar company name, but I still don't understand how this treatment to us can be justified in any way shape or form. We shouldn't have to pay the price for an internal fault. I would urge people to steer clear from this company that refuses to pay outstanding invoices to other companies that have completed work, as i believe this to be a reflection on the people that run this company.NegativeProfessionalism

Jordan, This is a very inappropriate way to conduct your business and we are very disappointed with the way you have conducted yourself in this matter. We have had repeated communication with you over the last few months and you have been repeatedly asked to provide the invoices you believe are outstanding. This was initially 3 and now turns out to be only two. As explained to you repeatedly as you have set your company name up in an almost identical name to another of our suppliers we believe the invoices to have been paid and had you provided us with copy invoices your bills (if outstanding after investigation) would have been settled very quickly. Your emails have not been blocked so most of your review is not factual. As you are not reviewing our actual service as you are not a client of ours and in fact it is the other way round may we suggest your remove this review and arrange a in person discussion with our Directors who will happily discuss this with you.
