I selected Charles David Casson because of its informed approach and integrity having previous experience of a house purchase. All of the team was attentive and the Director Matt ensured his expectations that the people assigned to sell my property were fully briefed and competent about my individual property. His response to my particular requirements were positive and timely. The person assigned was exceptional, made sure she was fully informed about every aspect of the property and the local market so she could advise me and engage effectively with potential buyers. She was professional, reliable, always gave considered feedback and was incredibly supportive, nothing was too much trouble. The communication throughout the process was timely and ensured I was updated and the sale progressed in spite of initial chain difficulties with the first buyers. I cannot recommend Matt and his team highly enough. An excellent estate agents who are fully appraised of and work competently with the local markets on behalf of their customers.

I have been impressed with the marvellous services received from Charles David Casson Estate Agent from Chelmsford. The reason why I had chosen this agent was that other estate agents were not willing to help me to rent with the support of a guarantor as I started my business less than a year ago. So I can not prove my income due to not submitting tax returns yet. Macey was extremely helpful. I was amazed to experience her dedication, enthusiasm and communication skills. Charles David Casson were excellent from start to finish during my recent property sale. Gavin, Federica and Jordan were excellent at facilitating viewings and my property was marketed really well. I honestly do not think the sale would have progressed had it not been for Becky, who constantly chasing and dealing with my buyer's very difficult solicitor. She also kept the communication going between me and my buyer. I could not have asked for a better agent to have been involved.

For some reason the sales progressor (Kim?) thought it apt to give misleading information to our buyer about deadlines and tried to manipulate the story of the sale which led to a huge amount of unnecessary stress. It was against all odds that the sale didn’t completely collapse for a second time at the very last minute. That was down to damage limitation by savvy solicitors elsewhere in the chain and by direct communications between buyers and sellers by-passing misinformation and building trust. Such tactics are just not ethical and thankfully not all agents in this company or others are like this.

My husband and I bought a house through Charles David Casson a couple years back and they were the worst part of the process. Their communication was poor from start to finish. They recommended the worst solicitors, DO NOT go for the solicitor they recommend. They failed to adequately arrange viewings and made the process HELL. At several points I had to request their manager to intervene, who was equally useless. If you enjoy stress and headache, you can go for them. If the seller had not been so lovely and accommodating, we would not have got this sale over the line. We literally did all the work whilst they twiddled their thumbs and wasted our time. After the sale went through, they’ve been harassing me periodically to give a valuation of the house- in case I want to sell. Haunting me even to this day.
