Such a positive experience dealing with Mike at Brian Thomas. I was kept well informed with all the details every step of the way. Being a first time buyer you tend to have worries but having Mike explain things in layman's terms made the buying experience much easier and we were very well supported by him. GoogleNot helpful. Didn't want to show around the property. We put an offer to the estate agent and he refused to phone owner till mid week as he said he was busy.??? Very unprofessional and won't ever deal with. How anyone can say professional is beside me.!

Decided to use this company for the sale of my Father's house as they were willing to come out to do a valuation during the first lockdown (in a covid secure manner) and were local. They provided excellent service throughout the whole transaction, keeping me informed at every step, answering my numerous questions willingly and in a timely fashion, and chasing things up when they needed to be chased. This was my first (and hopefully last) experience of selling a house, but should the need ever arise I will be more than happy to use them again. Many thanks.

GoogleThe property I live in is managed by Brian Thomas. They are absolutely useless as managing agents - they can't deal with simple repair requests and it takes forever to get anything done. They don't know how to prepare an AST contract and lie about clauses they put in there themselves as being non-binding - when the legal opinion I obtained myself confirms all clauses are binding. The "accounts manager" Sherry refuses to answer to my emails and the "director" Paul tends to respond in a very emotional and threatening way, sometimes at night hours - his responses so far were hugely unprofessional and poorly worded. I'm reporting this company to ARLA, hopefully they won't be doing much business any longer.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism
Dear Magdalena We are saddened to see your 1 star rating, it is unusual to receive a review like this as we strive for nothing less than excellent service, we always take it very seriously when we hear of any dissatisfaction from our customers. All our AST’s are professionally prepared by the residential landlords association (RLA) and therefore can not altered or changed by ourselves. Whenever we are contacted with regards to maintenance issues we have members of staff in place to act on them immediately by communicating with landlords and our contractors. Due to the Covid-19 outbreak there was restrictions and delays however we still managed to resolve most issues raised. And lastly neither myself or any member of our staff have ever been accused of threatening behaviour and we holy refute any allegations to this. I was very pleased with the service received from Mike. I wanted to ensure that i found a long term tenant that would respect my property and Mike really took this on board and has helped me twice now to do just that. A previous agent i used always wanted to fill the property asap regardless of tenant quality, i always felt they were out to make a quick buck. Mike puts the time and effort in and ensures you get the right tenant for your property. I have already recommend him to my friends.
