Abysmal Full Property Management

Although my YourMove branch staff were very efficient and approachable during the lettings process, my experience of the Full Management service has been abysmal. I would advise extreme caution when considering using their service.

Bad Management, will make the landlord suffer to get their monthly rent paid by tenants by holding it in their bank account by making excuses, we made a big mistake of handing over our Brand new house to these estate agency, who are money mongers, will not respond to your calls, very expensive, told one price when we handed over the keys and almost took the entire month rent and even month additional charges for doing nothing and when we gave notice, kept holding our monthly rents, when we have to pay our mortgage, bills associated with the property, such a big no no to these unorganised, unprofessional, money mongers!! There are online Estate agents who are far better then these so called your move Estate agents who will not charge such a hefty charges and even make EPC free of charge, will do entire maintenance work of the property and will pay you monthly Rent for the term agreed, and there are no conditions, I will advise all landlord to approach those online estate agents rather then falling prey for such irresponsible Property management your move estate agents. Such Estate agents don’t even deserve single star.

Sadly found this company to be highly disingenuous. No issue with my credit check no issue with my income, paid my holding deposit. Thought the room was secure. Hear nothing for over a week plan to move, suddenly called with zero explanation and told the landlord ‘just wanted to go with someone else’. Later discovered many individuals had given a holding deposit for the same property! Fair enough but be transparent about that. I have since gone with another local company and sailed through with them being open, upfront and genuinely caring towards their clientele. Also they advertised a room with All Bills Included- went and saw the property and there was a separate meter in the room where you are charged an extortionate rate for electricity! This has been a terrible experience for me as a first time renter, the worker I dealt with talked a convincing talk to get me to part with my money! Beware they just don’t care 😫

Horrible experience with Your Move Surbiton

We began our purchase with Your Move Surbiton about 8 weeks ago, at the end of July. Our agent was Michael White. From the outset, we specifically asked about the neighbouring property, and on two separate occasions, Michael told us it was a “standard residential family home.” Based on this information, we made an offer the same day, which was accepted. We were told that all other viewings had been cancelled.

A very friendly team who are always willing to help. During the house purchase process I was advised about everything I needed to know and the best people were lined up all along the way to make the process as simple as possible. Having Embrace Financial Services available in the Carlisle Office greatly aided the mortgage application process.
