Ok so I was going to hold off writing this until things were sorted but enough is enough and it is time to express my experience. Simply put these are the worst agents you could possibly imaging Communication as a tenant is simple. It would take weeks of back and forth for simple requests to be completed such as asking for proof of rent payments. ironically to the point I filled out their website contact us form with an issue and got a call back the next day asking which property I was interested in. Clearly they are only interested in signing up new tenant rather than offering a service to existing ones. If you have an issue the only way to resolve this is via their own portal system which creates a barrier to having repairs carried out. Now I have moved out they are holding my deposit back for repairs I didn't complete due to them not being too much of a bother for me and for cleaning the apartment again despite having had it professionally cleaned with a guarantee which I could not use as they didn't communicate their intentions. I have to move most years and have rented several apartments over the years. I have never had issues before and always had my deposit back in full. This is a complete opposite story with Taylors Be warned

Sales representatives very helpful, always helpful exchanges. Maintenance very average, often asked to chase and confirm contractors yourself, no accountability on them to push to get your property fixed (haven’t experienced this with previous tenancy’s) Getting deposit back - very poor. It’s been 2 weeks and I’m awaiting a quote for a small amount of paint to be patched up (came off when cleaning). New tenants already in. Luckily I’m not desperate for the money back, but if I was a struggling family who needed the money I’d be in a pickle.

Having bought our flat through Taylors and being very pleased with that experience, they were our first contact when we wanted to rent it out. Maria and Gary were very helpful in explaining the local rental market, giving very quick responses and identifying several suitable tenants, quickly resulting in a very good rent and a very reliable tenant. The few problems experienced during the tenancy were dealt with quickly and efficiently via the main Countrywide services. At the end of the tenancy Taylors were again extremely helpful in the check-out process. One slight criticism is that the main Countrywide office handles the administration of the tenancy, including end of tenancy notice, and are rather impersonal. They work only to the letter of the tenancy and ignored my request for a slightly modified end date. However, as soon as we contacted Gary he quickly negotiated a mutually acceptable date with the tenant and handled it locally. The charges involved in the tenancy were not the cheapest, but having the confidence of such an efficient, quality service more than compensates. We will definitely call on Taylors if we decide to rent out the property again.

This is my second time to find a place via Taylors. Back a year ago, when I first came to Cardiff, Taylors is the first and quickest agent that reply to me within 2 days. However, I did not rent any house via them. But a month later, they gave me a ring and asked me whether I still want to rent that house. I would say this is not a UK style(You guys may know what I mean, lol) A year later, I have sent a couple of emails via Rightmove. This time, Taylors is still the fastest agency that responds to me. Their staff are responsive, kind, on time. They don't waste your time, straight forward. After viewing and decided to rent the flat. their staff even gave me a call on Friday to say that she will be on leave for three days, how they respect their client! So that I won't be worried about my renting process. If you want to rent or buy a property, just go for Taylors.
