A few months back my business had a few issues that really benefited from an estate agent’s perspective. Lisa and the girls were so helpful and neighbourly that I just had to leave a review (even if it’s been so busy that I haven’t had time till now!). The only reason I haven’t given five stars to this amazing team is because I haven’t used their actual services in regards to renting/buying a property, but each of these four stars are for the outstanding customer service and community support they’ve given to my local independent business within the village. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Why bother when they don’t….

I have been trying to contact the Tonypandy branch with regards a property I am interested in buying. I have spoken to their central number, I’ve used their online ‘BOT’ option to try to speak to someone, all to no avail. Whoever has their property listed with this branch, I would suggest engaging a company that 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 communicates with potential buyers. This company is rubbish with callbacks.

My brother and I rented a 2 bed flat…

My brother and I rented a 2 bed flat through Darlows for approximately one and a half years. The company were helpful, ensuring a easy move in. When the time came for us move out of the property I have to say Sam McAllister was extremely helpful. Whilst completing the end of tenancy inspection he was very friendly and informative explaining the process, which areas usually affect the tenants deposits, and which areas are usually a concern for the landlord. Sam continued to demonstrate utmost level of customer care by phoning and updating me personally on the status of my 'check out' and when I should expect to get my deposit back. I honestly couldn't sing the mans praises enough

This company is absolutely useless !

This company is absolutely useless !! We have been renting with darlows for just under a year when we originally put the offer in on the property it was on the grounds that it would be painted cleaned and all the nails and holes in the wall would be replaced/ repaired BEFORE WE MOVED IN as it was in a pretty bad state from the people before. instead of them getting this sorted before we moved in the day we picked up the keys we was told it had not been done yet, a year later they are asking us to sign for another year which there’s not a chance in hell I would do! It’s been a year and I have asked for an inventory several times as it is a legal document required for liability, every time I have tried to ask I have been ignored and they had the cheek to tell me next years rent will be going up the way this place is managed is horrific as soon as you have put ur deposit down and paid first month rent you will be ignored and left to your own devices. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone honestly

Very sincere and helpful staff

Moving into a new house is never a simple affair and we did have some minor issues at the start of the tenancy (totally expected and normal), however, the team at Darlows have been very efficient in helping us to the best of their ability. Namely Sam Mcallister & his colleague Zara have been very good at helping us deal with any problems we've had so far. As a younger couple it certainly feels like the first time our concerns have been seriously addressed.

Really went out of their way for me even though I was another branch's customer. At around 5pm I realised I needed to get keys to the Merthyr branch for completion of the sale of my mother's house. As I was unable to get there from Cardiff that evening, one of the Llanishen staff volunteered to drive the 30 minute journey so they could deliver they keys for me AFTER THEIR SHIFT HAD FINISHED as there were no drivers available at the time. The definition of going the extra mile (actually, a lot more than a mile). Very much appreciated!
