Wallsend Branch - Amazing service! This is the second rental I have bought from and rented out through, Your Move Wallsend. I can honestly say the service the staff, at the branch, provide is of the highest standard. They kept in touch with me throughout the process, were clear with respect to fees etc and made me feel like I was their number one priority. Could not recommend them more highly!!

Starting with visiting us to offer a valuation of the property to finding us a buyer the staff at Your Move in Lincoln and North Hykeham have been totally professional. I received regular phone calls and updates regarding viewings and feedback . Staff were always polite, willing to take the time to answer any questions or talk through any corncerns. I would definitely recommend them.

I would like to add to my review, we have been illegally evicted but David the director doesn’t think this is the case however citizen advice, shelter and housing standards and my property solicitor agree that it is an illegal eviction STAY CLEAR THEY DO NOT KNOW THE LAW AND WILL USE SCARE TACTICS!!

GoogleDO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! THIS IS THE BIGGEST REGRET OF UNIVERSITY EXPERIENCE - POSSIBLY MY LIFE! THEY ARE RUDE, MONUMENTALLY UNHELPFUL, THEY QUITE LITERALLY GO OUT OF THIER WAY TO MAKE YOUR LIFE HELL. THEY CHARGE EXTORTIONATE FEES FOR DOING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING AND YOU WILL END UP IN AN EMAIL BATTLE WITH THEM THAT IS EXHAUSTING. I CANNOT GO INTO DETAILS ABOUT ALL THEY THINGS THEY DID TO SCREW US OVER, AS I WOULD QUITE LITERALLY BE SAT HERE TYPING FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE. YOUR MOVE ARE WITHOUT A DOUBT THE WORST LETTING COMPANY IN THE WORLD.

GoogleTook them forever to reply one email. I understand that they might be busy dealing with other clients, but replying one email 1.5 week later was a bit ridiculous. In addition, I specifically asked about their international bank transfer details and they only gave me their UK account number and sort code instead of IBAN, swift code, bank address, and account holder name. And of course, those details took me another week to fetch. Furthermore, their agents put the wrong numbers for deposits and first month rent and it was very unprofessional. For example, the monthly rent was 1500pcm for 3 people and they mentioned in their emails that each of us pays 210GBP for first month rent. To be honest, with them making so many mistakes and being unprofessional overall starts to make me wonder if their IBAN number and swift code are wrong too. I hope my deposits and rent managed to get into the right account Would not recommend anyone to use this agency.

Googleme and my wife recently booked two viewings with sam hooper at your move in canterbury - we didnt like the two that we originally viewed however she listened to our feedback and got a proper idea of what we wanted and found us the perfect property the same day. out of all the many different agents we spoke to, sam was the only one to keep in contact with us and go out of her way to help us. thank you !!

GoogleGenuinely awful. I co-rented a house with them for my second year of uni and I'm choosing to go back on campus next year rather than ever deal with a letting agent again, because this place is just that bad. We're constantly sent the wrong information over email and phone, we go into the store and are reassured that everything will be dealt with, but it never is. Every email we receive is in all capitals and often making threats that we're going to lose our house if a payment isn't made -- when that payment has already left our accounts and gone to YourMove. We're sure we're each owed a couple hundred pounds still, if any of the staff are to be believed (I wouldn't recommend believing them) but we're just giving up on it. Dealing with this company is like talking to a brick wall. Everyone is very friendly (when they're not getting your name wrong) but what good is that when nothing they say can be trusted? It's been a genuine nightmare and I can very safely say that I am never going to use any branch of YourMove again.

GoogleMost appalling service from a letting agent's I have ever received! If I could give zero stars I would. Aside from the person showing people round properties (Joe) the staff, and particularly the branch manager are exceptionally unprofessional and rude. Upon handing my personal data to the 3rd party without my consent and stating explicitly this was unacceptable I got the response of "No problem". No apologies for breaching a legal right. Over the course of 3 years they screwed up my tenancy renewal, gave incorrect and misleading information, and when finally I put in a formal complaint (because directly stating you are unhappy with the service and that they have broken the law isn't serious enough for them) it took over a month before getting any response to the complaint. Still no formal apology from the branch, and the person dealing with the complaint apparently doesn't want to consider legal terms/ramifications as we are not yet dealing with this on a legal basis, so is judging the stress caused by all of this as he sees fit (which obviously is orders of magnitude below what they are). I am sure some people would receive better service at other branches, however I would strongly suggest anyone planning to rent in Canterbury go through another agents. If their decent staff are leaving because of the way they treat each other, and the management are entirely disregarding of your well being and rights, I wouldn't risk the time, money, and energy required to sort out their continued screw ups.

GoogleSteve and Rupert at the Canterbury branch provided a good service in selling my mother’s house. They were quick to respond to questions and were helpful in accompanying viewings etc. I would recommend using your own solicitor as the one recommended by the team at Your Move weren’t very responsive - however that wasn’t down to Your Move and once we changed solicitor things moved along promptly.
