Deposit Dispute

It has taken almost 4 months and use of the dispute service, but i have finally got agreement that i can have my deposit back in full.I never received a check out report and there was no suggestion that the place was left dirty or in poor repair. Just a lame excuse that they couldn't get hold of the landlord so couldn't release the deposit.I am now an owner occupier but have rented on and off for 20 years and this was by far the worst experience.15/1 Update: Don't be fooled by their quick response to my review saying how sorry they are. They gave this same stock response when i posted a similar message in November. I sent my details but never heard back.

A lot of estate agents have a bad reputation, some justified, some not. My recent experience with Your Move Hitchin was very good and made the process of selling and buying a positive experience. Peter kept me well informed during the entire process and was always on hand to answer any questions I had. In his absence his colleagues were up to speed on my sale and able to deal with any queries I had.Overall, I cannot fault the service received and would definitely recommend and use again if the need arises.

I disclosed that I had a CCJ when filling out the forms. I had to wait for information from my sister before I could submit them all, but in the meantime my manager at work received an email asking for a reference which I thought was strange as I had not sent it off yet. I then get a call to say they cannot go ahead with my application (IT WAS NOT FILLED OUT YET) and now I have been told I will not be receiving my £191.00 deposit back. Ok then Right Move... You just keep my money that I work hard for. It's not like you need it.

Repeated spamming emails despite…

Repeated spamming emails despite numerous requests to unsubscribe via different methods.Whether Your Move is good or bad, I don't know but tactics like this just put me off and I would never trust a company with a pretend 'unsubscribe' option which they choose to ignore. Simply immoral.Resorted to blocking Your Move completely because it's the only way to stop it.Your move needs to read and heed Gov.UK...."Customers have the right to stop their information being used for direct marketing. You must make it easy to opt out - for example by sending a 'STOP' text to a short number, or using an 'unsubscribe' link."In response to Your Move...The only way to fix is to ensure an unsubscribe button means just that. I have no wish to communicate and have blocked Your Move permanently.

They will spam you to death!

I have no idea what "Your Move" is, but they've apparently bought or found my email address online, as I'm receiving a huge amount of unwanted spam newsletters from them. I've unsubscribed a million times but they completely ignore it. I tried to go on their website but it says I don't have an account with them, and the only way to contact them is enter the postcode of the branch you've been dealing with - I've not had any dealings with any branch! Just stop spamming me non-stop, I'm not planning to move, and this guarantees I won't even use you! Stop buying scammy email lists!

Your Move Walkden. Moving made easier!

Moving can be incredibly stressful at the best of times. Thankfully Jade and Lee at Your Move in Walkden made the process much less stressful. They were so helpful throughout the whole process, especially when our previous landlord proved slow to respond. We used Your Move (Chris Stonock - Low Fell) estate agents to sell our property in Gateshead last year. All the staff were very professional at all times and made the selling experience very good indeed. A special mention goes to Peter Foster, Sales Progression at Your Move Low Fell branch for all his hard work, expertise and patience with this sale. The sale took 10 months to complete due to circumstances beyond the control of any of us involved in the transaction. During this time Peter was always there for advice and support and we don't know what we would have done without him. He's an absolute gent and a pleasure to deal with! The Newton abbot branch Vicky Mugford was outstanding. My sale was dragging on with no update from solicitors about what was going on. I was going mad and reached out to Vicky the manager at Newton branch. As soon as she took over I had regular updates with my buyer. Her persistence and constant chasing kept the sale going. She didn’t just get the sale and sit back. Vicky worked so hard and I highly recommend her and the branch. They got me a sale really quickly and are so pro active. I would say don’t use another agent. There the best and Vicky is a legend. . I can not thank her enough.

I have rented my 3 bedroom bungalow through Your Move in Polegate for the last 7 years. Throughout that time Paul the manager of the Polegate branch of Your Move has been looking after my interests regarding the property, along with his in-branch team. Since our 1st meeting 7 years ago Paul has always shown the highest level of professionalism and experience, along with a friendly, reliable way of doing business where nothing is too much trouble and I always get my problem or query resolved quickly and efficiently, plus all advice is always spot on. If you are looking to rent, buy or sell in the Polegate/Eastbourne/Hailsham area, I cannot recommend Paul and Your Move Polegate enough, as you are guaranteed to be looked after, and your interests cared for. Putting your house on the market is not always a straight forward or smooth process. But my experience this time around I would say was smooth. I didn’t have any prior knowledge of Your move estate agent, nor did I read any review about them. It was a gamble. I chose them based on the endless leaflet through my letter box. So decided to invite them for an appraisal. Then I met Shahzad, a highly experienced, knowledgeable and convincing agent. His presentation was like no other, so didn’t have a choice after meeting other estate agents who to go with to sell my property. Although I had anxiety about the number of people coming through the door to view the property, Shaz kept me updated, made suggestions and reassured me. I felt I was in safe hands. My property was on offer within 4 weeks and in the process of completing sale and purchase of my property. So, it has been a positive experience, and will recommend your move to friends and family.

Shahzad Ahmed is a very thorough, professional estate agent. The market had slowed down when I signed with him, but he managed to screen and find a buyer and secured a price that was very acceptable. I would not hesitate in recommending him and his colleague Sarah to anyone looking for an extremely, thorough, efficient and competent Estate Agency. We dealt with the ‘Your Move’ branch based at 30 Market St, Shaw, Oldham OL2 8NH & from the very beginning to the end they have all been brilliant !!We initially dealt with George who came to our home that we were selling & was just amazing, not pushy at all & so knowledgeable about the housing market, informed us of the best way to go about selling especially in respect of the price to start the ball rolling & what we could realistically achieve.
