I’m quite surprised to see so many negative reviews of Caxtons, perhaps negative feeling are more readily expressed on-line. It took some time for my daughter to receive her deposit back but this was mainly due to legal action between another tenant and the landlords. Also, correct protocol had to be followed with the TDS. During this protracted period I found communication with Caxtons (especially Duncan Reeves) to be very polite, helpful and professional. They did all they could to resolve the dispute in a timely manner. From my experience I would have no problem recommending Caxtons.

My boyfriend and I were looking for a 1 bedroom apartment in a limited time frame and Caxton's caught our eye as they have a lot of one bedroom flats available. The service was brilliant - we were given appointments to view a few flats 2 days after we first visited the office which was great. Caxton's were very efficient with us, we found a property we liked quickly and were able to fill out the necessary paperwork on the same day. Brittany Holland dealt with us and she was so friendly and helpful - she made our experience great and smooth. Would definitely recommend Caxton's to our friends!

We were without a property at the start of our tennacy and Caxtons went out of their way to find something for us so we were not without a place to live. Throughout our tenency they have been easy to contact, kind and very helpful on any issues. I would reccomend them as a letting agent to anyone.

If you are a student, please don't stay here. They take your deposit and charge you for things they should be doing such as cleaning. I recommend Palamon Court which is also a student accomodation in Canterbury. Palamon Court has friendly staff, always attending and don't steal your money like Caxtons does. Please watch out.

When receiving an email about late payments and additional future fines, Which I wasn't aware about. I think it would be better for these type of emails to be sent earlier in the day, rather than 5pm. To give people enough time to reply and not ruin the evening. Other than that, everything has been good and I was able to sort the problem Promptly the next day.
