TrustpilotPa Manneh
Pa Manneh was a really good consultant when finalising the sale. After having a number of issues with a different consultant and being passed pillar to post when Pa got involved he made the finalising of the sale stress free and a breeze! He always replied to emails within a very quick time frame and always made sure he had the correct information.

Sylvana was very helpful, knowledgeable, patient and supportive all through the long process of staircasing. I didn't know how it all works and we had some issues with our solicitors. Sylvana made a great effort to get things done, chased and kept me informed at all times. Always went above and beyond to explain when I wasn't sure. Great communication. Thank you

She helped me through every stage and was super supportive and patient.A true credit to her company. She even phoned at the end and congratulated me, when it was her that did most of the work!

TrustpilotPa came to the rescue!
Pa is the ONLY person within SoResi that truly understands that people like myself that are buying a property for the first time require detail, re-assurance and an expert in the field. He was, simply put, outstanding! He helped get the deal over the line, he followed up, knows what he is doing, I could not fault him. Five stars to Pa, he is a credit to his team and organization. Thank you Pa!That said, sadly three other individuals I dealt with I can only describe as amateurs, un-interested and in general EXTREMELY POOR. Specifically Lubna, for every 5 phone calls made to her, only one was answered. The advert of the property had the wrong rent, service charge, lease duration, parking slot allocated to the property which resulted in a very stressful situation that meant I had to increase the amount required for the deposit (thankfully the mortgage advisor had a good relationship with the lender and the increase was reasonable). When I complained and asked for a manager, I did get the details on the second ask. Only good point is she allocated the property to me and my family. The progression manager Alex I was stunned with and not in a good way! Incapable of writing a professional email, referred to me as his mate (I am not nor will I ever be), complete luck of detail when this was requested(I am not buying peanuts from the corner shop, its only the biggest purchase of my lifetime!!). My 9 year old daughter can write better emails than him. Like Lubna, he was also consistent in being difficult to reach, but he was not as bad as her on that front. I cannot think of something he did that I can praise. After complaining to Lubna, you would have thought that she will make her line manager (Ben) aware and he in turn would look to deal with the issue. She did not nor did Ben have the courtesy to deal with an unhappy buyer, so I called her and demanded he contacts me. And to my surprise he did so on the same day, on a Friday after 5pm. That is were praise for Ben starts and finishes. His opening line was I need to apologize for our shortcomings in relation to the false advert about the property hence why I reached out to you. I thought to myself you talking to me now due to my demand, but I stayed quiet on the phone and listened to him apologizing and telling me what he would do about it. He told me he would speak to their specialist that was off for more than a month on Monday and he would come back to me. He didn't, and on Tuesday after 5 calls (can you spot the pattern?) I got through to him for him to say he has no update as he did not see the specialist.I chased again on Wednesday, please note lease was actually 68 years instead of the 99 years posted on their site, and luckily I built a good rapport with the seller and knew that she was prepared so spend the tens of thousands of pounds needed to get the lease back up to 99 years as she wanted to leave the country for personal reasons. Ben though was not aware of this, and instead of him reaching out to her and confirm either way (extend the lease or not) he made the assumption that she would not be prepared to spend this vast amount of money. Over the phone he told me the deal will collapse, as the seller would not extend the lease! Ben did not bother contacting the seller, and he wanted this headache to go away, so he chose to cut corners.Ben simply could not be bothered to do his job. I can see why his subordinates were well below par, you are only as good as you manager they say in my trade. The same way Pa is a huge credit to SoResi, Ben is a huge liability to SoResi. Lastly, Sarah (Head of resales) and also Ben's line manager, also deserves praise. I did speak to her explaining that pretty much everything was broken in my dealings with SoResi and to her credit, she listened and more importantly she acted by allocating Pa to my case and this lead to the deal being sealed and I have now become a property owner!Once again thank you to Pa and Sarah!

TrustpilotExcellent service with my intention to make a full payment of my equity loan to supplement my deposit needed to purchase my property just over 16yeras ago
soresi.co.ukI spoke to Roy the adviser at soresi.co.uk who deals with equity loans repayments of mtvh.co.ukmThis took place earlier today for half an hour.Roy was very attentive and understood my request to make a full payment of my equity loan. There was a special offers and to do so if all the necessary documentations are completed in accord with their policy before the end of this month. After our conversation about guidance and companies to contact. He then sent me an email of the professional companies to contact so to meet the stated requirements. This includes company eg. Solicitor, RIC qualification standard to make an assessment of my house sale price at today's price based on his inspection of the property. Other requirements too. There is a solicitor company familiar with the process. Another company familiar with all the documentations needed necessary to meet strict guidelines to get the discounted rate offer. This was essential in view of the time I have left during the festive season to complete the process. There were a total of 7 attachments in pdf that I received. Have not fully scrutinised all of them but I have a good start to complete the tasks.Roy would be available if I have further question by emailing him first before calling him.I am very grateful for Roy's professionalism, style and friendly manner. He certainly deserves a rating of 9/10.

Sylvana Is the exact person you'd want to work with through a process like this. Her professionalism, efficiency and responsiveness are above and beyond. Staircaising is a big and complex process with curve-balls, surprises and unexpected challenges - Sylvana took it all in her stride, kept us informed, and repeatedly surprised us by going beyond our expectations at every single step.

I enquired and viewed a SO Resi shared ownership property in London and the service so far from Renee, Jade and Ahmed has been brilliant. On the viewing Jade was extremely patient with me whilst i asked my multitude of questions and carefully explained the Shared ownership process and next steps to me. I feel that i am in safe hands with Jade and Renee as i hopefully proceed with purchasing through SO Resi.

TrustpilotGood communication with rep, mixed feelings about the portal.
It has been a good experience so far and I feel since getting a buyer the updates have been more frequent. Lubna Suarez was a great contact to have, made great first contact to set up the process and has been good with responding. I thought the photos looked great however wasn't too impressed with the estate agent that was used so e ded up showing people around myself. The system to show availability for viewing is a bit clunky. Overall a good experience though and looks like I have sold my property through SoResi.

TrustpilotA long list of quite serious errors and…
A long list of quite serious errors and a lack of due care and attention. Not proactive enough. Not professional. Got there in the end after using a proper estate agent...The main issues:The first agent assigned to us never contacted us or booked in a remote video appointment to see the flat as was promised. We had to chase them to get anything to happen. Our next agent from Soresi was much better - actually calling us on the phone and keeping us updated with potential viewings for our flat etc. But unfortunately no follow up or engagement with buyers after they expressed interest and signed up - they just evaporated...After using a real estate agent we very quickly got some interest, but then discovered that Soresi had not even taken down the original advert from their website which they were obligated to do under contract - and so we were unable to achieve a much better price on the open market because buyers were comparing our asking price with the old advert on Soresi!! Unforgivable really. They took it down pretty quickly when we discovered this and informed them, but too little too late.We still got it sold but the process was just incredibly slow and torturous in total. Even during the actual transaction process there were delays due to Housing Association solicitors being slow in responding for example. There is room for a lot of improvement as an organisation.

TrustpilotAbsolutely shocking
I would just like to say I know you will probably delete my review once I've posted it but I'm going to anyway.Soresi made my property move far more stressful than it needed to be. They were absolutely terrible in terms of communication. I struggled to make contact for a period of months with them for updates on the progress of offers and mortage applications for the sale of my flat. The solicitors that then acted on Behalf of my buyer, who were presumably recommended by soresi, were equally as shambolic at communicating.when I did eventually sell my flat, nearly 8 months later, I was informed the day before completion that I would need to exchange keys myself with my buyer, I thought traditionally keys are exchanged by the estate agents, this is clearly not the case for a company like soresi. To top this off, the icing on the cake was the 1% sales fee written in to my contract that they take from the sale of your property.FYI - there is a period you have to advertise your property on the market with them for, it is about 6 weeks, as soon as this is finished, go private and put it on the market with a separte estate agents. So resi are terrible!*** update ***I was sent a letter by met housing informing me I was in rent arrears, after I had moved out threatening a possible county court judgement. I later found out, that my buyers solicitor hadn't bothered to send notice to met housing I have moved out.If you go through this process you really will have to keep tabs on the progress of the sale from start to Finish..

TrustpilotSo Resi
The first part of the selling process with getting our property on the market, viewings and getting the property sold went well with no hitches. However since the property sold in March '23 we have had issues. We needed our roof tiles replacing due to them being curled, I originally reported this to So Resi in April'23. However nothing was done about this until months down the line. The communication between So Resi and myself was poor, and it was only because I kept ringing and making calls to the relevant agencies that anything got done. Roof is finally being fixed this week - 7 months later! However since Klaudia Miara took over the case things have been better. Communications have been much better, she has kept me informed whether this is via email or phone call. When she has been on annual leave she gave me someone else to whom I could contact with anything due to the ongoing issue with the roof and has also been helpful in chasing up the relevant parties in getting them to give us a date for the roof to be fixed. Even though we are still waiting to exchange and complete, I cannot fault Klaudia with what she has done. if it was just to rate Klaudia on her own, then the stars would of been higher, but I had to think about the overall service before Klaudia and this is where the star rating falls.

The sale process was painful ,expensive and took far too long From start to finish SOResi were pretty much hopeless If I could award no stars I would On my initial contact with SO they told me the property was not on their register Only by continually chasing with MPH did this change When my solicitor contacted them they said they hadn’t authorised the sale despite written evidence they had The legal documentation took around 6 months to complete and only by continuous chasing did we get SO/MPH to provide what was needed This led to substantial increased cost

TrustpilotMyself and my wife are trying to buy…
Myself and my wife are trying to buy our 1st home, we do not have a deposit with the current climate and bills out of control. Lets face it, who does have 15k-20k lying round. Then they said we need to earn less than 80k, penalised for earning more ? Yet still can not afford 100% of a house. We have never missed a rent payment in 5 years, we can afford a £1600 per month rented home but So Resi must feel that we can not afford £1400 mortgage and rent combined ? And said no to us. On top of that they do not support the Armed Forces Covenant, I served 12 years for my country and they wont even make an effort to try to help. How can people get on the property ladder if people like these make it impossible especially veterans who serve there country. I find this quite disgusting. Shame on So Resi...
