So Resi Resale

It took 2 weeks to begin the process even though the website states someone will be in touch with me within 48 hours. There was a continuous change of people handling the sale of my property, some were excellent and kept me updated, particularly at the beginning, but some were very poor at communicating with me regarding the various stages we were at with the sale. Also, I was told the sale would be completed within 12 weeks of agreeing a buyer and in fact it took 20 weeks.

Great experience

My experience with So Resi in general has a little to complain.The beginning was a little slow but I am impatient :) As soon as the flat was assigned to me and Lubna took it in her hands and, after a short time, passed it to Klaudia, I had nothing to complain about. Klaudia was extremely quick with her responses and tried to answer all my questions even providing helpful links. Always very supportive and helpful. I have had terrible experiences with my Solicitors which have slowed down the process massively and almost destroyed the whole chain but we got there and I am happy owner of share ownership.If you would have chance to choos your agent Klaudia is the right person.

Roy was friendly but process was exasperating.

Roy was friendly and helpful on the phone.Unfortunately I found the whole process arduous and frequently frustrating. The I.T. system docusign seemed inadequate, which finally worked after the fourteenth attempt. As things gradually ground on, I found Roy only answered the phone on rare occasions and didn’t respond to my voicemails by phone. His email responses to my questions were often unhelpful e.g. “Thank you for your email, regards …” literally, just those words in quotation. However, I’d happily have a chat over a couple of pints with Roy, as he’s a very likeable character.

Overall it’s a good experience with Soresi. With Vanessa help I manage to make a reservation for my new home. Vanessa is very polite and answers all my requests. The process of sharing ownership are very confusing at the beginning but they guide you through the journey step by step. Even though at the beginning I found it very difficult to reach out to them because no one answers the call ( I would suggest they contact the client more proactive) and there are a few typo mistakes on the price list and floor plan but they correct them quickly for me . I am excited to continue my journey to staircase my property and look forward to move into my new house.

Thank you Roy for your help. Very polite, patient and knowledgable. The only reason for four not five stars is the phone menu system is very confusing. It took three separate calls and experimenting with about 9 different combinations of submenus to find the correct option. Furthermore, my scheme is with MTVH. I had never heard of SoResi and so when I called it was unclear if I had called the correct number. However, now that I know I can just email Roy and he will call me back I am relieved I will not have to navigate the jungle of menu options again. However, this does need attention.

I just bought a property through SO Resi and in the beginning was a bit sloe until Nikolay Yankov took over my process, he was amazing, chasing every day, as it was my first property I was very anxious and not sure what was going on, but he made sure he was updating me daily if needed and guide me through the process. It felt much easier with his help.

Through a very rough ride to exchange, we had the pleasure of Klaudia working with us. Up until this point I have to admit I found SoResi very hard to get hold of and slow to respond. Staircasing

Buying the freehold of my home was a much smoother process than I imagined it would be but I have to say that it felt like a lot of this was down to Sylvana Conway who was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and proactive. When she wasn’t completely sure what to do she sought advice from specialist colleagues and made sure she got back to me with their responses. Sylvana went over and above when it comes to keeping in touch with me, sometimes just dropping me a line to touch base if things had been quiet for a while. It’s rare to deal with someone who’s so empathic and who seemed so invested in my transaction. Anyway, well done SoResi and a massive thank you to Sylvana.

The sale of my property took nearly one year but there was a long delay in getting a lease extension.I would like to thank two people who really did a great amount of effort in getting everything right. Jade was the first person that I was in contact with and she arranged viewings with potential buyers and surveyors. I thank her so much;she was fantastic. Omar was my agent later and he was very effecient and nothing was any problem to him . Zoe & Karen So Resi!

After a difficult separation I had no choice but to move back in to my parents house. This was a very hard decision. So since April I have been looking for something suitable for my Son & I. I registered with all the housing websites as well as Shared Ownership, that’s where I found So Resi with Zoe & Karen. There were very kind & helpful as I had never done anything like this before but they talked me through it with many different options. Transformative for 1st.Time Buyers

Having lived simply in the private rental sector all of our adult lives, my husband and I felt a bit anxious about crossing over to home ownership and embroiling ourselves in the intricacies of a legal web, most of the language seemed so foreign to us and I almost didn’t want to make that first call to So Resi when I found a property that interested us. Though I knew that now was an ideal time to buy (and no more a good time to rent), I still had reservations about switching sides.It was Tem (Temel Kamil), part of the So Resi Sales team alongside his business partner Ellis Kamil, with whom we dealt in the initial stage in showing us a property that we decided upon buying. That showing was indicative of Tem’s character and the way he and Ellis do things - professional but without the hard, pushy veneer normally associated with Sales people, and `everything was done in such a relaxed and unrushed manner - he allowed us our privacy inside the property while we evaluated the space and knowledgeably engaged with us when needed, thereby giving us free rein to our own thoughts and emotions without the added complication of his third party presence. We felt unpressured and supported in equal measure.Once the flat had been allocated to us, the pace began to quicken and Tem was just brilliant, keeping us notified every step of the way with phone calls, texts and emails, guiding us through the complexities and breaking down all the confusion we felt, explaining the language, was patience and generosity itself when he went the extra mile to ensure our sense of stability, way beyond his professional remit, and I found him to be unlike any sales personnel I’d ever had dealings with. Professional though easy-going, eminently likeable and with their relaxed attitudes, both he and Ellis seem to enjoy easing first time buyers into the Shared Ownership model. True gentlemen. This reflected back on us so that, by the end of our dealings with them both and their subsequent passing us onto the equally friendly Progression Team (the final rung of the home ownership ladder), we feel excited and confident, transformed into willing first-time buyers.
