My partner and I have been looking for our first home together for some time now, when this opportunity come up with us both having busy lives we missed out on the first launch. And we thought that was it. But as soon as the second launch got announced we jumped straight on it. And without the amazing help from Renee I don’t think we would of even got this far. She has helped in every way possible with so much reassurance and making everything so much clearer as buying your first home can be very overwhelming with all the information it comes with. With having 2 beautiful girls and just recently got engage. A new home was on the cards for us. And I’m pleased we have the pleasure of Renee to help us along this journey.

Have taken the stress out of it all.I am currently buying my Shared Ownership home. I never thought that at the age of 50 I’d be starting from scratch again. With this in mind I was very anxious to whether I’d be able to do this. Karen and Susan have gone above and beyond in diminishing my fears, by not only being approachable and friendly but they were extremely professional throughout our meeting and answered all my questions. Shockingly Poor

No Customer Service at all.No communication from the staff.No contact numbers.Tried to view a property and no one bothers to come back to you, you chase and chase and chase for 2 weeks to find eventually find a number where people actually answer in their Head Office and the house is sold but still showing as available.

Poor Experience

Overall experience attempting to work with two teams (Lease extension & Staircasing) was poor. Difficult to get hold of via phone and long delays over emails. People I spoke to gave me conflicting information at times also. I am not sure on their affiliation with Metropolitan but the team there responsible for our property in N16 London are rubbish. We all pay a large service charge and sinking fund and out block is in need of repairs and improvements. Metropolitan have done very little and seem to not care.

I am not the type that like to write reviews but just cannot hold back this review about Roy, one of the equity loans staff, who has the patience of Job in the Bible. He was apologising for the effort I have made beforehand in trying to get the right person to communicate with, which made me raise doubt of whom he could be. Simple reasons for my doubt was because someone else had requested for authenticated documents, which I have sent and no acknowledgement of its receipt. Roy took me through all the nitty-gritty of my journey, waited to be sure we established a two way email conversation before vital documents were sent to me. Sincerely speaking, I will always want and like to communicate with him.He is the RIGHT MAN AT THIS FRONT-LINE!!! Thanks a million.

Buying a house (shared owenrship)

We are currently in the process of buying a house through SO Resi on their shared ownership scheme. Having never brought property before I was very nervous about the whole process but SO Resi are there to support you every step of the way. My first interactions were with the lovely Hana Ahmed who made the viewing and application process so straight forward. SO Resi are able to put you in touch with financial advisors who complete your financial checks and help set up you mortgage and they even provide a list of lawyers to help you through the legal process. They have a somewhat scary and daunting task seem less so and I am very grateful for all their continued help and support.

Good service

The two staff I have dealt with have been great. Karen answered my questions on the original call to their offices and arranged for us to view the property that seemed to suit our requirements. Zoe met us on site on the day and took us over the house which my wife immediately fell in love with. We liked the area and the house was more or less to our requirements. Both staff have helped us in the process as it is over 30 years since I have bought a new build property and the processes then were very different.
