I have been selling by shared ownership property, guided by Lubna Suarez at So Resi. My dealings with her have been professional at all times, she has been efficient and very assuring to deal with, she made my selling process go smoothly and provided great guidance in the process to the point of her handover, here's now hoping the new team can complete my sale in my required timescale in the same way. I attempted to call Soresi today, but as anticipated, there was no answer, this has been the pattern for the past six months since I began selling the flat. I've made at least 50 calls without a response. While I've sent around a dozen emails, I've only received answers to about half of them, and even those responses often feel more like questions or unnecessary arguments rather than solutions.

TrustpilotAwful service & complete rip off merchants
Awful service & keep trying to overcharge us for everything. I have been living in an mtvh managed property for over 15 years, and despite the heating & hot water system being communal for this entire time, every time we have an issue with it, anyone who reports it has to fight their 'customer service team' to get them to deal with it (their other buildings must have each flat have its own boiler). Also, when someone came to repair my HIU, they, without telling me, completely replaced my old one & tore out all the flooring/pipe boxing in the cupboard & left big holes in the floor. They told me someone else would come to do the carpentry, but after 3+ years of chasing are now saying this is my responsibility, even though it was caused by maintenance of an item in the flat that they are responsible for. They try & overcharge us for everything, and when they do any work in the building they leave holes/damage behind them. Despite assuring us that the emergency button in the lift works, it has never connected with anyone who's been able to help & many people have been trapped in there. They replaced our door entry system with one that doesn't work properly and despite assuring us for years that we have cctv (and them charging us for it while failing to provide the police with evidence when things get stolen/people get assaulted in the communal areas) we recently discovered that there was no power supply to the cameras, so they've been lying to our faces about caring about our safety. This is just a tiny selection of the issues we have - avoid dealing with this company at all costs.

As a lease holder in a building run by MTVH, I am disgusted in the way they (MTVH) treat leaseholders. They are constantly lying and never do what they say they would. The building I live in is not maintained in the way they promised when first purchasing the apartment. The ‘Service Charge’ is through the roof and they can never explain how they come up with the sums they do. I could write a book on their incompetence! They have ruined the ‘beautiful home feeling’ that one should have in their homes. The whole experience I have had with them (MTVH) has totally put me off ever buying another apartment in a managed building in the UK. Shame on them.

The sale was relatively straight forward although not without it's hitches, but the after-sale service from the resale progression team was poor. Communication was slow and I had to constantly chase to get things done. Although the main reason the sale of my flat being drawn was the buyer's solicitor, So Resi certainly didn't help and should've done more to move things along.

I’m at the final stage of selling my house and have found the support from Alexander Tozer most helpful. It is difficult for me to contact people during the working day, so he has liaised with my father on my behalf. Alex has kept him up to date with progress, promptly responding to any queries he’s raised, ensured Soresi’s involvement has moved without delay and has actively chased the buyer’s solicitors when things seemed to have stalled.Hopefully with his help my completion date will soon be confirmed.

Not quite finished the buying process yet (I've just found a solicitor!), but so far my experience has been very smooth. I was shown several different styles of apartment upon my visit, and when I decided one of them was right for me the process of reserving and beginning all the paperwork to buy was easy to understand. Some tangles occurred with submitting documents to their affiliate finance team, Metro Finance, but these were relatively simple to resolve.My contact within the team, Andrea, has been very helpful, forthcoming, and patient whilst I navigate the world of property ownership for the first time. Thank you!
