Katie Fox our progression administrator was excellent. She was very responsive to each and every question no matter how daft it might have been. All of the team we have encountered during the purchase process through So Resi have been extremely knowledgeable and efficient. Buying shared ownership seemed to be a black art but Jacqui Corrigan was very patient with our questions.

We just bought our first home with So Resi, and overall we are very happy about it.Andrea Soundy (sales team) was extremely caring and dedicated. She showed us the property a couple of times before we put an offer in and again another time after the offer was accepted. Nothing was too much for her. During the first couple of viewings, she told us about the neighbourhood and also the area. Unfortunately, she did miss-sold us the usage of the patio adjacent to the property (the plans on the brochure clearly show that they are part of the plot you are buying, and therefore yours) however, the construction plans do not include the patio and after many phone calls and emails backs-and-fourths we did not get anywhere (like hitting your face against a brick wall); the excuse they gave us was: "that's just how it is and the plans will not be amended; we will not be writing an additional clause to approve exclusive use of the patio". As a technicality, and FYI, you never really own your balcony either!Katie Fox (progression team) was also very good at responding to emails and calls, no question as too silly or annoying. She always had all the answers and when she didn't, she would find out and let us know ASAP. We never felt we had to chase her in regards to anything. Katie was professional and very pleasant to deal with.On the other hand, Joe Boateng (homeownership team) was a complete nuisance to deal with. We were referred to him in order to acquire pet permission for our flat, and the process felt like pulling teeth. He was always unreachable, never replied to an email and we had to jump hoops and speak with 4 different people to get everything sorted.Regardless of the struggles, we moved in on Friday (took 4 months in total: from Offer Accepted to contract exchange to Keys handover). Andrea was there to hand us the keys and welcome us to our new home (and show us how to operate everything!). It felt very nice that the first person you deal with when you embark on this journey is the same that says goodbye at the end. The So Resi team put together a lovely welcome hamper with some goodies to help us settle in, which felt very thoughtful.We would recommend So Resi to any family and friends, but we would advise them to be very careful with their promises (eg. patio/balcony ownership, pet permission, exchange time), make sure that what you want, you get it in writing before committing to anything.

Lubna Suarez has been very helpful by arranging the viewing for us and providing updates regarding the flat allocation. She has kept us updated throughout the process up until we have been allocated a progression officer. We have also dealt with Paul Aird in the past and he has been very responsive and helpful as well. We recommend SO Resi housing association for shared ownership.

This is our first house purchase and have had no experience of the process. Thanks to Jade in the sales team, this has been made simple so far. Jade has answered any questions we've had promptly and precisely. We were also given plenty of time to check all property styles in the build, for us to decide which one we liked. Also Jade has chased up any issues, for us, whenever we needed.

Tem and Ellis have been great at guiding me through this process and helping me secure the property I am looking at.Tem is the main contact I am working with and he is really patient and calm (and leaves the best voicemails!) If he cannot take your call there and then, he will text you as acknowledgement and then get back to you as soon as he can. Even though I've asked the same questions over and over again, he doesn't seem to mind answering them for me many times.Ellis has been wonderful when Tem was on leave for a few days in helping move my case along and providing me with a clear description of what I needed to do next.They are both really friendly both online and in person and explain things slowly and clearly for you.Highly recommend.

Good experience so far during the process of selling our property. Lubna has been very friendly and helpful. The only negative of the process so far is that when Lubna is on leave etc we can’t seem to get hold of anyone nor receive any kind of updates / communication which has caused delays in answers. On the whole, ok so far.

When I attempted to contact SO Resi, right at the beginning of the process of enquiring about selling my house, it was a struggle to get through to anyone. I eventually got through to speak to Madu, who was extremely helpful. I got through to Madu on a few more occassions, and again, she was excellent.(A definite asset to SO Resi). When I was ready to forward all my documentation, I spoke to Dorothy who advised me what to do. (We had a lovely conversation about how I had been preparing the house.) I was finally introduced to Paul and advised that he would be dealing with my case. Paul, again was excellent. Advising me of what I needed to do, and explaning what he would be doing to put the house on the market. Paul was quick to act and kept me updated at all times. Apart from the time you are kept waitng on the phone, my experience has been very good. If it wasn't for the phone waiting time, it would have been 5 stars.
