GoogleAnnie Dowling helped us buy our new home. Professional and personable, she was excellent at staying in touch, always proactive and helping to move the process along. Annie clearly has very good 'people sense', understanding what it was like for all parties and helping to manage concerns. We felt she provided an excellent responsive service (particularly by comparison to other experiences with estate agents). I was also impressed by how the local office worked with the Cambridge office to verify our identity which made things painless. We had some problems on completion day when communication appeared to break down between the seller’s solicitors and Savills (I think more down to the solicitors) which was a bit stressful but it was resolved.

GoogleSavills demonstrated extremely professional and thoroughly responsive approach to listing, and then enabling negotiations for the sale of an ancient but lovely 550 yr old timber & thatch property near Cambridge. From first contact, through exemplary photography (including a Drone Image at elevation), excellent communication regarding viewings and feedback, and then skilled, very empathetic liaison between prospective buyers and myself, I truly couldn't have asked for better. I found Annie D to be an exemplary facilitator, who diligently worked above and beyond to nurture and then close the sale, all within a swift and efficient process, to the mutual satisfaction of the buyers and myself. Now entering my 7th decade, I can honestly say I have never experienced such clarity, support, and expertise in selling or buying before, especially as this particular home was a distinctly niche property which required an unusual depth of understanding in detail when selling, and in order to assist the buyers. I would unreservedly recommend Savills based on my recent experience. Sincere thanks in particular to you, Annie.

A special mention regarding Stewart who lead the whole process. He is extremely good at his job and kept everyone in the loop all the time which makes things a lot easier. He was always available to answer or research any questions and without him not sure the process would have been anywhere as easy. So thanks again to him and the rest of the team.

GoogleWe have used Savills for years as a rental agent and when the time came for us to downsize and sell our lovely house in North Hertfordshire Savills was an easy choice to market it for us. We were so fortunate in having Lucy Banks as our selling agent - she proved at all times to be completely professional, quick to respond to our many queries with intelligence and wisdom. We were very pleased with the marketing process - especially the excellent photography within a comprehensive brochure. The sale proved to be a very lengthy one - just over seven months from agreeing to sell before we exchanged! - largely due to a very cautious buyer. This proved to be an extremely frustrating, anxious and infuriating time indeed. Somebody some day must work out a better way to buy and sell houses in England - the present system really only helps to fill the coffers of the solicitors - but Lucy remained calm and patient through it all, gently and solicitously moving the negotiations along and finally getting us to a very happy completion. Her colleagues Ed Byrne, Annie Darling and Tina Donaldson provided brilliant support throughout. We are grateful to the whole team and thoroughly recommend their services.
