Dealing with the sale of my late mother's house has been a long and stressful experience. Having been with another estate agent for a long time without success, or regular updates, we signed up with the Hockeys team. Their communication and their tireless effort put in, has lead to the sale. This was handled with efficiency and in a friendly, understanding and helpful manner throughout the process. I've just sold through Hockeys, and was impressed by the team from the outset. At valuation stage Harriet outshone competitors with her insightful appraisal of the house - it's material potential, where its appeal lay, and where it sat in the current market. Her style was bright, confident and sincere, and I felt very comfortable trusting her and the team to represent the property. During the process, Joseph has been responsive and attentive, communicated clearly and keeping me fully informed along the way. Excellent service. I'd also add that I had a fantastic service from the conveyancer recommended by Hockey's (Hayward Moon).

I cannot recommend Hockeys enough. The entire team were incredibly helpful and professional during a long, difficult chain in the middle of the pandemic. In particular, Ben, Harriet and Ellis were always responsive, professional and communicative throughout the process, ensuring the (extremely) fragile chain did not collapse! We bought our new home using Hockeys and Alex was our agent. We were kept informed throughout the process and kept updated on a regular basis, the process was quick. Even with the Christmas holidays during our purchase we managed to go from offer to completion in under 11 weeks. Hockeys remained professional even when our sellers became very pushy and difficult and it became clear that certain information had not been disclosed to them which had a significant impact on our purchase. Despite all this they got it done and were able to move to our new house.

We used Hockeys for a recent purchase of a property in Cambridge. As first time buyers, the process of a house purchase was both novel and complex. The team at Hockeys were fantastic, particularly Alex Milne who worked very hard to make sure that we were fully briefed on the process, kept updated on the status of our purchase, and would try and get updates for us when the process went quiet. Our purchase was quite lengthy due to other buyers within the chain, and despite frustrations Alex was constantly positive and reassured us when we felt frustrated.We would highly recommend Hockeys and their team for any purchases or sales that you may have.

I'm finally getting around to doing this but this is in no way a reflection of the service we received from hockey's! We bought and sold through hockey's and would definitely recommend them as an agent. Alex was brilliant throughout, keeping us in the loop and making sure that everything went smoothly when the place we purchased proved to be a little tricky and not a situation he or we had experienced before! Despite the situation, Alex did everything possible to ensure the sale went through and we were in our new place within two months! With the help of hockey's we have found our forever home and we will always be grateful. If it wasn’t for Jeremy at Hockey’s we wouldn’t be in our ‘forever home’. Listening and paying attention to what we requested to move up the ladder he got it bang on! He went to value a home and had us at the forefront of his mind. All the staff, particularly Jeremy and Alex were very attentive and kept us in the loop with every detail. From selling to moving in it was a very swift two and a half months! I would highly recommend Hockeys and although I would definitely use them again.... We first had contact with Hockeys in May 2015. We had seen a house in Cottenham that we wanted to view. At the time our house also in Cottenham was not on the market and we had not even thought about moving house. We arranged for Jeremy to come and value our house. It was a 1pm appointment by 3.30pm our house was on the market and 2 viewings had been booked for 5.30pm that same evening. Within 24 hours of meeting Jeremy we had our first offer. We were so pleased with the efficency of Jeremy and his team. We did buy that house that prompted us to get the valuation. We moved in October 2015 and could not be happier. Although it was a snap decision to view the house and put ours up for sale, it was the best snap decision we have ever made and Hockeys made it all possible. Houses in Cottenham seem to sell fast and we had not thought in our wildest dreams that we would be successful in buying our perfect home when ours wasn't even on the market.
