Despite being worried about finding a flat in London in the current state of the housing market, CJ made it easy for us to view the flat, did not pressure us to make an offer which made us feel comfortable, and when we did decide to make an offer they, especially Sam, were helpful in letting us know next steps. I also emailed several times with loads and loads of questions which were all answered quickly and with clarity which made me feel better about the whole process.

We had a deeply disappointing and frustrating experience with the residential sales team at Carter Jonas in Cambridge. They collectively conducted themselves thoroughly unprofessionally with a dismissive, haughty and arrogant attitude. We consistently experienced appalling communication with very slow and sporadic replies to emails and answering phone calls. The contrast with another local estate agents was stark! Having terminated Carter Jonas, a splendid estate agent took over and sold our property on the very first day at a higher price than when represented by Carter Jonas. If you value prompt and clear communication, reliability and expertise in the Cambridge housing market and, above all, professionalism - you need to look for representation elsewhere.

Carter Jonas manage the rental of my property and they do it fabulously. Over the years I have been with them they have really helped me with all aspects of my property from tenants to repairs to just general advice on renting. A specific thank you to Leisa Jackson who is first class sorting out any issues with the flat and similarly Naomi Blois who has done a great job in ensuring my flat is 100% occupied with great tenants. Best real estate agent in cambridge. Consistently have solid properties and also keep them well maintained. Deposit deductions are fair, and things are fixed when reported very quickly. It's common to have someone round within 24hrs after an issue has been reported. We've also had our favourite landlord through these guys. Ellie and Sophia are great. Ellie in particular has dealt with many questions, queries, and hassle from our side promptly and professionally. Would highly recommend and will probably only rent through them while in cambridge.

I have rented a property through CJ. Overall I am happy about my experience and I can wholeheartedly recommend their services. Why ? - Clear, honest and efficient communication, I were able to do almost everything over emails and online with the rare need to call or to visit the office. - They have a process for everything which makes you feel confident that they are able to sort things out and resolve any obstacle down the road. - They were objective in all their requests and responsive in all things requested from them. - The system they had to manage issues is magnificent and dependable, I did not have to worry if anything failed or was damaged as they took care straightaway. - We looked after the property we stayed in and they returned the deposit in full which again touch base with the point of being objective and not being only on the landlord's side all the time. The things that they can improve at: - To hire somebody to do the End of tenancy cleaning as this may reduce the price of the service which is of high price with respect to the quality achieved (contractors and not CJ). - To eliminate the need to take photos when a reviewer (basically somebody who comes to check that the property is in good shape) comes around as I see this as a kind of privacy issue. - To keep access to the inventory photo log, I struggled when checking out as I was not sure if an item was like this when checked in or if it had been depreciated. In general, If I am to rent or rent out, I will contact them at first. I want to give a special thanks to Adam for Sales and Megan from Operations in Cambridge office as they were very helpful and things would not be as good as it was without their involvement.

The team especially Sophie and Fred were always on hand to give excellent help and advice and visited the property numerous times over the months when it was on sale.We had a number of viewings throughout the time the property was on the market and their up to date feedback on the viewings was invaluable. Deliberately trying to put off tenants with pets

I am trying to rent somewhere and have a dog. The new Renters Rights Act should make it easier, but Carter Jonas do the opposite. I was told today that they have a 'huge backlog of pet requests and it's taking around 1.5 months to get permission from a building manager' so no point even asking. Surely that's something that can happen in principle before a property is marketed? I believe they are using delays and unhelpfulness as a way of continuing to exclude tenants with pets.

I have been a tenant at a property Carter Jonas for one and half year. I have had a very disappointing and stressful experience with their property management side. I have reported problems with our property such as broken window panel (causing the bedroom being cold and getting breeze inside), leak that happened a year ago and the stains are still on the ceiling, shower panel falling on my daughter and I was charged to pay for that and many more issues. I have been more than accommodating with taking time off work, ensuring availability when maintenance needed to come in for inspection and all other related tasks. I am tired of chasing them constantly as it is obvious that they couldn’t care less about us, our problems or this review. I am leaving this here for others sake in case they are considering letting their property through Carter Jonas. As someone who works in the same industry and manages properties, there is nothing they can say to me that can explain why they have not yet attended or even attempted to resolve my issues! Adding the photos so everyone can see how small these problems are and we have been waiting for more than a year to have them resolved!
