GoogleI would like to express my gratitude to Alexander Greens Co. Lewis for the excellent service they provided in helping me to rent a room in Cambridge. I had a great experience with Lewis, who was very accommodating and responsive to my questions. I highly recommend this company for their professional and efficient service. I received my deposit refund within few days of the end of the tenancy and Lewis did kindly chase this.

Googlethis agency is very un professonial .what they commit they not fulfill .the owner of the agency is very rude first when they need the tenant they talk poiletly later once the contract is sign they dont reply or talk properly .i suggest everyone not to use there service.

GoogleThey've been a really great rental agency so far. From the initial contact, they were fast to respond and made renting the property seamless. They're fast to fix any issues that are reported to them (an issue with the shower was fixed within days). They've also been beyond helpful in providing some required documents for a visa process. Overall, a friendly and helpful agency.

GoogleAs a lot of people wrote they only take care about money, no fair, arrogant and cheat you. Stay away, be careful. They work only because in Cambridge there's very high demand and turnover, otherwise their business would be definitely over.
Pietre thank you for your review you have never been a tenant at Alexander Greens and your review needs to be removed. How ever with all due respect your Girlfriend Kelly left her tenancy with a very dirty bathroom to which she was charged £40 for a clean. Quite an unpleasant job but never the less someone need to do it so tenants can move in. Unfortunately we can't post pictures on here but would do so if there was a facility. There is a process in place for her to raise a dispute. Hopefully you learn something from this experience and leave the next place in a better condition. All the best.

GoogleOne of my worst life experiences. Very manipulative, promised me a property after finishing all the paperwork, and paying the holding fees for 5 properties to then come back to me saying: sorry; it's gone to somebody else!!
Hi Adel, The property had been taken but as all calls are recorded for training purposes the aggression in which you spoke to our team from the off was unneccessaryand there fore we have the right to refuse to rent to you. We hope you find a suitable property and wish you well.

GoogleMy rental and tenancy agreement with Alexander Greens ,over the past 5 months has been very good and the staff have been friendly.Contacting us prior to any maintenance,viewings,or changes. During April and just before coming out of the Covid-19 lockdown,a difficult and uncertain time. I was able to view several properties with the agency,before deciding to move into 14 Circus Drive. GoogleThe house is great and they always fix any problem we have. A special review to the cleaner Atilla who does an amazing job. He is very perfectionist and made our oven look like new. He really delivers the best cleaning service I've ever seen here.

GoogleThe worst agency !!!!!! Please avoid them!!!!!!!! They only care about the money , but not their tenants . Houses are really bad maintained . You pay lots of rent for what you get !! Every year they put the rent up!!! They charge for everything!!! Recently in our house we haven’t had hot water for a week!!!! and they don’t sort anything . Only excuses .

GoogleThis Christmas give yourselves the gift of peace of mind and do not rent with them. If you have already made this mistake my thoughts and prayers are with you. Renting with them will feel like a long winter filled with impoliteness and refusals to meet contractual obligations, and the winter’s parting gift is always deposit deductions. GoogleTalking as a long standing tenant- I can honestly say this agency is fantastic 👏 For the last 2 and a half years Nabila, Jonathan, Sam and the other guys (sorry I can't remember your names) have been on point anytime anything is needed or if I had questions or problems 😀 Fan issues? Sorted! Need new furniture? Okay! All they ever asked is that I pay my rent and keep the house (reasonably) clean- offer them a brew when they arrive! 😉 Been an absolute pleasure to know you all

GoogleLow review for the the terrible customer service. Very obvious from the attitude of some of the staff that once they have your money they are not interested (renting). Had some problems with other housemates and they were very reluctant to act. Not giving one star because In fairness they were very smooth with the moving in and moving out process.

GoogleI would give zero stars if it were possible. Alexander Greens increased my tenancy without issuing a Section 13 notice. This is illegal and contravenes the Housing Act, something that any letting agent worth their salt should know. My landlord was overbearing and on multiple occasions broke the rules of the tenancy agreements. She visited the property without proper notice, threw away my personal possessions, and at one point was insisting on almost weekly room inspections, without providing proper cause. Naturally in each of these instances myself and my fellow tenants contacted Alexander Greens for help but they did nothing to help and did not stop the landlord from acting in this way. Despite the tenancy also stipulating 'no couples', Alexander Green also allowed a couple to view and move into the property with us which was an awkward situation for existing tenants. When we raised this Alexander Greens were unhelpful. If you are thinking of renting in Cambridge, do not use Alexander Greens! They are by far the worst letting company I have had to deal with and wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy.

GoogleUsually do not review places though wanted to share my positive experience with Alexander Greens. I was a tenant for 2 years with a property managed by the company. Communication and servicing was always managed with great effect, any problems that were raised were always replayed to and investigated as soon as possible. Never had any any issues with the property itself, it was as advertised and expected. I did receive a slight rent increase during my tenure, though this was very small on a room that was already lowered in price so did not bother me. All in all I would be happy to choose Alexander Greens again if the opportunity arose in the future.

GoogleI have been a tenant with Alexander greens for 5 years. I was really satisfied with the communication and how smooth was the transaction concluded. I really appreciate how simple and quick the process was, most was done online and there were no extraneous requirements. Staff are so professional, friendly and helpful. Above all, dealing with trusty landlord and responding quickly to any request are highly appreciated. I highly recommend “Alexander Greens Property Services” office if you are new in town, but also if you trying to find a furnished apartment with good quality and less time spend.

GoogleAfter having been with a number of different estate agents within Cambridge, Alexander Greens were the best of the bunch. Good to respond, relatively easy going and I stayed as a tenant with them for almost 9 years to no outright complaint. They're not perfect but no estate agent ever are, I would recommend them over their competitors.

FacebookTerrible letting agency. Do not recommend. Employees are really difficult to deal with and are very reluctant to resolve issues. The property I resided in at Hampden Gardens has a recurrent issue with ant and fly infestations in the conservatory. Alexander Greens have done nothing to resolve this issue although it has been raised by myself and former tenants. I’ve just been charged £15 from my deposit for a light bulb not working in my room and a little dust on the skirting board to be cleaned. When I arrived, it was clear that the room had not been cleaned before I moved in and there were two light bulbs that had not been replaced. Avoid this letting agency at all costs. They are very unprofessional and rude.

GoogleI was there for 8 months. The room was good on the top floor on 13 aster way. Very warm house. When I received the room the carpet was quite damaged and I took photos of that to prove. The bed broke and they took two weeks to replace it after I had to chase it a number of times by phone and email. In the end I was charged 110£ for the inventory from my deposit ( which is a joke since they will not do an inventory on the start of the tenancy and will do one on the end, not forgetting that they will not give you any paperwork!! So you don't have any contradictory! That's not an inventory, that's something illegal). When I left I cleaned the room. They charged me 60£ for the carpet from my deposit of 780£. Not forgetting that the carpet was already damaged, I have photos of that, there were two holes on he wall and the mattress was in worst condition according to them!!! That's laughable the mattress was probably older than my 40 years old and I don't take especial time punching the walls to see if I can create holes! When I confronted them with the photos they gave me back 30£ of the 60!!Thank you for these 8 months, but I cannot recommend you!
