First of all dependable. With so much stress around dates it always felt that Courtney was on top of things, and nothing was waiting on her. That included following up emails after hours. She would turn things around quickly and if there were delays it was not on her side. Her calmness and confidence made us feel that it was always going to happen within the timescales. Finally capable and professional. She did “exactly what it said on the tin”. Would I recommend Courtney and Romans.

Don’t normally do reviews but was very impressed with romans Camberley, especially Shevaughn. I was in desperate need of accommodation and she found properties for me to view straight away. I then messed her about with my inability to decide what I wanted and kept changing my mind. She has the patience of a saint and kept finding me properties. Shevaughn was also very kind and seemed like she genuinely cared about my difficult situations. Romans are very lucky to have such a great employee.

I started renting with Romans recently and the whole process from viewings to picking up my keys was an absolute breeze. Competent, highly motivated team and a helpful no fuss referencing with most of the paperwork completed online really left me quite impressed. Shevaughn was great in communicating with me throughout the final checks as well as sorting out last minute issues with no delays to my rent start date. I have recently started to rent a property through Romans (Camberley) and I cannot recommend the service I have received any higher. I was in the process of changing locations due to the start of a new job & Charlotte Wild was extremely helpful and responsive in the organisation of viewings and provision of information. I'd like to thank everyone I have dealt with so far on making the experience as efficient & pleasant as possible. I would wholeheartedly recommend. Update: I have now been using Romans for just over two years and cannot fault their service. They have made the renting process/experience as straight forward as possible, with incredibly responsive communication, ensuring any issues have been either answered or dealt with as soon as possible. My primary contact has been Wendy Bennett, who has been professional, personable and knowledgeable. I would thoroughly recommend :)

Recently contacted Romans to renting a one Bed apartment in a retirement complex - Camberley. Jake and Ollie were extremely responsive from day one and visited the apartment on the same day. Within a week, Jake and Ollie had found a Client who was interested in the apartment and signed up.The appropriate contract was drawn up and the Client moved in. It is comforting to have worked with Jake and Ollie and the rest of the Rental team. Extremely professional and responsive. Would certainly recommend Romans for their Rental Services. I have rented my flat through Romans Camberley for just over 14 years now, in my experience Wendy in property management is highly efficient and professional in getting any issue dealt with immediately and always with a friendly and caring personal touch (I sigh with a breath of relief after every call and flat inspection), on the rental side I have dealt with Oliver who has always been highly professional and impartial when I have had to deal with difficult times due to ill health and eventual retirement. In life it is people that count when things go wrong that make a real difference and Wendy and Oliver have made that difference in mine.

I just finished a long-running house sale with Romans in Camberley, and I can't speak highly enough of the team. The service that they provided was excellent. Rhianna Scowen in particular was super helpful throughout the process. The house sale was delayed a result of issues relating to probate, and Rhianna went beyond the call of duty to help me during what was at times a difficult and emotional process. I can't thank her enough for her kindness, professionalism and support, and ultimately for making sure that the house sale went through. The other members of the Romans team were also very helpful, and I would have no hesitation in using Romans again for any future house sales.

We've just left the rental market and bought (through a different agent) but I wanted to leave a positive review of Romans as letting agents, and in particular for Wendy who was our property manager for the last few years of our tenancy. We were in our property for just over 5 years and had quite a few different property managers over that time, Wendy being the most recent. Every dealing I had with Wendy was always pleasant, she was attentive and efficient and I cannot fault any part of our tenancy. Of course it helps that we had a lovely landlord too! I would recommend Romans as letting agents.

Disappointing experience with this company to say the least. Initially approached them to sell our property. The sales manager was lovely, however he was overly ambitious with the price, resulting in us having to continuously reduce the price. We subsequently decided to let the property. Focusing on the end of tenancy process, we were contacted by the property manager regarding the renewal of tenancy at around midday on the day the notice would have needed to be served. I responded to her email within 8 minutes with her not acknowledging this until after 4pm, to which I was later informed that this was after the cut off time the branch would have needed to serve the notice by. As such, the notice was not served until the following month, resulting in the tenants staying in the property for a month - well actually 6 weeks as they did not leave at the end of the notice period. The check-out report highlighted a number of damages to the property which fell under the tenants responsibilities inclusive of a 'blistered, cracked and lifting' bathroom basin which is part of a unit, to which we sought a quote for repair amounting to nearing £300. The property manager removed all proposed charges advising us not to pursue the sink. We eventually agreed on a figure of £147 to avoid the matter being escalated however it felt that the property manager was working in the sole interest of the client and despite escalating my complaint to management, there was no accountability taken. I would not recommend using this company.
