Have worked with Orchards for a few years and a few properties. Daniel Findlay's support with searches, questions, purchasing process has been excellent. The whole team at Orchards are great at listening to your needs and understanding how you want to work and what you need all they way through from step by step hand holding for first time buyers to a very helpful and easy to talk to guidance for the experienced buyer. David is a very good estate agent. He makes it his business to know everything about your house, the area and the market. The rest of the staff not so much. Communication is a little haphazard and frustrating and a lot less professional. All that being said they did sell our house for us and it went through fairly quickly but our buyers were also frustrated by the lack communication and actually things went a lot smoother once we dealt directly.

Shortly after the house went onto the market, David Ramon took over the management of the viewings / sales. When he was showing prospective buyers around the house, I was able to listen to him. He was amazingly enthusiastic, as well as knowledgeable about the house. He impressed me with his style, and I felt very confident that the sale of the house was in his hands. After the sale was agreed, David was able to keep me up to date from the buyers' perspective, and due to the lethargy demonstrated many times by the conveyancing solicitors, David was often subjected to me venting my frustration. David was so calm, reassuring and helpful. He often was able to communicate with the buyers and myself, and almost seemed to be the only source of help during this entire process. We purchased our current property from Orchard’s back in 2013 and found Will Rosten extremely helpful throughout the transaction. Earlier this year we put our house back on the market with Orchard and Sean Baker was our main contact. We received an offer immediately but unfortunately the chain collapsed and we had to remarket it. On the same day Sean was able to secure several viewings for us and we were very impressed with his very quick response. By the end of the day we had two new offers on the table and were in the fortunate position that both parties wanted our property. Sean and Will guided us as to which would be the best offer to accept. Sean and the team were fantastic in selling our house above and beyond our expectations and the sales process was expertly managed with very good communications. Honestly made the process of being a first time buyer a lot less stressful. I dealt with jasmine who was super helpful and basically helped me find my lovely new home after I told her my budget and what I was looking for. We recently had the good fortune of buying a house that was marketed and sold by Orchard Estate Agents. We ourselves had chosen to use Purple Bricks and additionally as it turned out, a rather substandard conveyancer. Luckily for us, our purchase was managed by David Ramon. He himself hosted the initial viewing and right from the start, it was clear that David was a seasoned professional and that he did ‘more’ than was standard. Once we had agreed our own sale, purple bricks went to ground and were pretty much uncontactable when we needed them to assist with communication between conveyancers and agents, to chase query and answer enquiries. As it turned out, even though we had a very short chain, our sale was incredibly slow and frustrating and it was only with the help and persistence of David @ Orchard, that things moved at all. David spent a lot of time on our behalf communication both up and down the chain, essentially acting as our own estate agent, even though we were paying him and Orchard nothing. I believe that the sign of any good business can be evidenced in the staff working alongside the management and I have only good things to say about the Team members that we interacted with when David was busy. Special mention to Will, who did a fantastic job during exchange and completion due to more complications. Will and the Team just dealt with them/it like seasoned professionals. In short, we are lucky that everything went to plan. We tried to save a few quid and used an online estate agent and a second rate conveyancer. In hindsight, this was a huge mistake and it is now very clear to us what the difference in fees gets you as an end user. When we are due to sell and move again, I will be calling David and his Team @ Orchard, no questions. Thank you!
