GoogleWe have been pleased with the service we received from Courtney and Elloise in letting out our house. There was a good immediate response from the online advert. The prospective tenants were vetted and out of four viewings we received two offers. The tenants are now installed. Communication was good at all stages of the process . All documentation received in time for the new tenancy.

GoogleMortgage advisor James is Fantastic. Managed to find me a suitable mortgage in line with what I wanted, which other advisors had told me wasn't possible! With various delays and issues along the way with the purchase he always stepped in to help even when it was nothing to do with the mortgage! Couldn't recommend enough if you want good honest advice and somebody that will work hard to achieve what you want!

Hope to never have to deal with this company again. This company work only for their own self-interest and not for their clients. Purposefully deceitful in order to bump up offers and sabotage accepted offers that they aren't happy with. Avoid.

GoogleAllen and Harris provided us with a fantastic end to end service through the sale of our first home to the purchase of the new property. The highlight of the whole process was Kyle...he found us an unbelievably great mortgage and as a direct result of all of his efforts we are now living the dream in our forever home. We were kept up to date daily on the whole process and never needed to chase. Thank you Kyle and the team at Allen and Harris!

GoogleWe recently used Allen and Harris when renting a house. From the outset they were professional and courteous. Yaiza and Shannon were very helpful in every aspect of getting our rental up and running. They kept us informed and updated. Moving house is always stressful however we felt that the assistance we received from Allen and Harris and specifically from Yaiza and Shannon went a long way to making the transition smoother. We have no hesitation in recommending them and thank them for the great service we received!

This agency is a complete joke. The day I involved them in the sale of my house I regretted it. First the Branch Manager went off sick and that was the start of our problems. Their surveyor couldn’t even work out the size of our house correctly and underestimated the size of it by nearly a third, and was way out with the valuation. The Area Director was supposed to sort it all out, but I later found out he didn’t even know who to contact in Connells Surveyors. The final straw was they hadn’t even the decency to cancel the contract and let us get an agent who knows how to sell a house. Avoid Allen And Harris Hamilton at all costs!

Dreadful service from Allen and Harris Stratton Branch and especially Steve Hudson. This branch used to be fantastic and I bought my house from them over 3 years ago but how things have changed. Luckily I had brilliant agents selling my property (Richard James) but have the misfortune of buying one through Steve at Allen and Harris in Stratton who is totally useless.He has lied, been uncommunicative and never even supplied me with the property details that I'm buying. Without any assistance from Steve, we're finally nearing completion and I've been trying, without success to contact Steve for the past 2 days but he's refusing to answer my emails or calls. This review is solely of the Stratton branch but I would suggest you re-think your agents if you're in this catchment area

The adviser who was also the manager gave wrong information false expectations did not meet the agreed timeline for the sale of the property resulting additional cost to me as the seller . the manager /adviser did not return my calls I reported this poor service to head office and got no response . this is the second issue I have had with this company and would advise potential customer to steer clear of this. Good sale talk but no follow through Delays thrpough every part of the process

Had to give 1 star as giving none was not an option. My daughter was a long term tenant (10 years plus) but was unexpectedly served 2 months notice to leave. Reason given was to replace the kitchen. This was a fabrication as the flat was then remarketed and let with nothing changed. The Allen and Harris bath branch who were the letting agent were unhelpful in finding alternative accommodation, devious and unprofessional in their conduct of business (lies, mixed messages, not responding) and finally delayed the return of the deposit. This was an appalling way to treat a long standing tenant of impeccable credentials. Please take heed and go elsewhere as the trauma and hassle of dealing with this agent is not worth the effort.

GoogleBought through them and would never sell! All went fairly smooth however they bombard you with properties via email, most of which aren't suitable (Even once you have bought through their agent!). Once offer has gone in they pressurise you into using their "in house" mortgage advice team. We didn't but was still pushed at every opportunity they had! Closer to our moving in day they bombard you with their in house opportunity to set up your new broadband/utilities etc. I was receiving emails, phone calls and text messages every few days even once I called the agent requesting for this to stop! I'm still receiving random emails from other companies relating to moving home and am pretty sure they have shared my info somewhere along the way. Stick to selling your property with an independent agent who you can trust.

GoogleCourtney was amazing my partner Emily spoke to Courtney a lot about the new house we were moving into and the bills etc Courtney was always available to answer any questions we had. She is amazing at her job and would definitely recommend her to anyone who is moving home she’s a great Asset to her firm and definitely needs a promotion.

Harry from Allen and Harris, supported myself and my partner with our mortgage process and application. This included 3 x face to face appointments. During the appointments harry was very professional, friendly and approachable. Things we didn’t quite understand, being first time buyers, were explained in great depth. Not only did harry sort out the mortgage application, but also all the important insurance covers too. May I add, 10 days after our mortgage application was submitted, we had an email back to say it was accepted! Much quicker than what we thought the process would take! ☺️ thank you! We would definitely recommend

My goodness - where to begin… Allen and Harris clevedon branch Somerset. I’ve dealt with a lot of estate agents, as I’m sure most of us have. I’ve bought houses, sold houses, and rented more times than I’d have liked. This estate agent was by far the worst I’ve dealt with- which is saying something as we all know what they are like to deal with. Lack of communication Lack of customer service Lack of knowledge Lack of understanding Lack of basic assistance Lack of professionalism to a very high standard I dealt with two agents from this branch and both were not only unhelpful but rude and failed to do even the most basic of tasks when dealing with my rental. Both myself ( the renter) and the client ( the home owner) have been stunned by the complete lack of service. I can safely say I will never use this agency again and will make sure I don’t deal with any of the branches in the future - I will actively not peruse any further business dealings with the entire company - not just the clevedon branch. Up to you if you use them- just be ware and be prepared to do a lot of the work yourself and deal with really very rude and unhelpful staff.

Thoroughly recommend Allen and Harris. Selling a house that was my grandparents and latterly my late parents was a difficult and emotional thing to do, coupled with me living a two hour drive away. The team were very kind, thoughtful. Kept me up to date and really went above and beyond, offering to get legal paperwork from their office to my solicitors for me. I would particularly mention James Lamb and Connor Sherman. I wouldn't hesitate to use Allen & Harris for buying or selling any property.
