I used Allen and Harris to purchase a house and Connor Sherman was my estate agent. He was so friendly and helpful. That’s is me again. After a very stressful negotiation with this company we decided to continue in the purchase of the apartment and couldn’t be worst. After a lack of information in the home report that builds with more than 4 floors bead to have lift by new regulations and just a few lenders accept to mortgage apartments in 5 floors without lift we got one. Lender tried 3 times to organise the service but Alen and Harris have not organised the appointment so they came to us telling the seller will put apartment back to market. Terrible service,terrible organisation, terrible customer service. Maybe now they will sell to their friend.

HOME IS NOW WHERE MY HEART IS

I can't begin to express my appreciation for the personal and professional service that the staff in the Chippenham office have provided.I was in the unenviable position of being in the middle of life's five biggest stressors including divorce and (consequently) needing to find somewhere to live, fast, within a tight budget and in a central location. I had been around the letting agencies in town to register, but due to my status as having been previously bankrupt I was met with short shrift, disinterest and dismissiveness. Not so at Allen and Harris.I was positively welcomed by Matthew Hooper, the Lettings Manager who not only quickly got me 'on the books' but actively offered solutions to my wish list. Almost overnight Jessica Burnell, Lettings Negotiator was on the case. Each time I popped into the office there was always someone on hand, from the Senior Branch Manager to the Sales team willing and happy to help if either of these two were out on business.In short, within a couple of weeks I had the keys to my new home and was extremely happy.I am not sure whether or not vetting and contracting with good landlords is a feature of their service but a review would not be complete without a mention of mine...super caring, fast acting and not in the least bit superior. Thank you all involved. I hope I prove to be a model tenant for some time to come.

Buying and selling my home with Allen and Harris

I used the Highworth branch of Allen and Harris and cannot recommend them highly enough . Having decided to move after my husband died they were with me every step of the way and couldn’t have been nicer and more helpful. Having a lot of problems with the conveyancing was most upsetting and yet nothing was too much trouble for the staff in helping me with the online forms and other problems I encountered with DC Law especially Andy , Chris, Molly and Gemma .

The Wells office team are a great

The Wells office team are a great, friendly and helpful team, the sale and buying of houses went fairly smoothly. I think the whole English system needs overhauling, it's too clunky, long and am sure it's only making money for the legal people. But this is not the problem of agents, who certainly do their best in the circumstances! However, I would NOT recommend using the in-house solicitors etc., not having a face to 'shout' at, and to pop in and ask questions directly to, is really hard. So get your own solicitor!!

What a great experience we had selling our parents’ house. Allen and Harris were totally professional and took all the hassle out of selling a property which is 2 ½ hours away from me. The Matterport walkthrough showed the house beautifully. Allen & Harris did all the viewings - 15 in the space of 2 weeks - and secured a great price for us. They were friendly, respectful and kept us informed at all times. This was the Paisley office - a great team!

I have enjoyed a 5 star experience! This is thanks to Courtney and Ellouise who have superb customer service skills, they made me feel like supporting our family was the reason they came to work! Their inter personal skills and utter professionalism was incredibly helpful in our case as we had some complex history that needed to be managed, Courtney and Ellouise grasped the problem, gave a solution and took action which ultimately meant that our daughter could move into her home, I am incredibly grateful to Courtney and Ellouise for their support. On moving into her home my daughter was left a lovely house warming welcome pack from Allen & Harris which was a really nice personal touch! They worked relentlessly to seek a qualified buyer, for a very fair price in a short time period, particularly amiss pandemic. We must add that Mr Alexander Chappell, in particular was invaluable (and exceptional) throughout the entire sale process. And even post-sale! Charity Shop Sue could show this lot a few things about management. Broker was an imbecile, couldn’t get him off the phone until we paid, then couldn’t get him on the phone. His manager was a nylon shirt wearing narcissist. They caused delay, drift, and endless stress. Avoid like the plague. Financial ombudsman here we come.
