Me and my husband was finding it difficult to find our first home together. After looking for a few months we came in contact with Paul Markey from Imagine. He was fantastic, took us to see three property’s on the same day, even when we had no bookings. After feeling defeated with no luck he recommended we see another property (also the same day) he thought it would be the one for us. HE WAS RIGHT! First time buyer. Lee Martin and Claire Berke were very helpful along the way, especially through this pandemic period. First met Lee since before the lockdown and reserved the property after the first meeting. Since then, there were multiple obstacles to be overcome with solicitors from both sides, all the way up to the day of initial proposed exchange and completion. Therefore both exchange and completion was delayed to a later date last minute. Both Claire and Lee were very approachable and patient with all my questions and having to constantly prompt the seller side and the seller's solicitors to proceed with exchange of contracts. Currently, we are waiting for completion. Hopefully all goes well from now on. Without their help in constantly chasing the solicitors, I am almost certain this would have taken so much longer.

The keys were given to the buyers without our consent, even though we had instructed them to hold off until the full set of keys was received. Glenn, the area director, released the keys, and Jamie, the Watford branch manager, shifted the blame onto the solicitors and us for their unprofessional actions. If the area director and branch manager act this way, what can we expect from the rest of the team?

The agent who showed us around on our first visit was with us from beginning to end and answered any queries and questions we had. At the end of July I rented a flat with the help of Imagine, and can vouch for their high professional standards. From the first contact with Ashley Orbell and his immediate response to viewing request, to the recent repair of a window blind, I have found them to be efficient and responsive. Their concierge service to facilitate utility account changes, registration with the local council as well as other lesser but no less time-consuming issues, was much appreciated. Highly recommended! I can say that Imagine is one stop solution for property management. We have come across Imagine twice now, once for buying a property and in another occasion for letting and managing the property, I am very much satisfied with the communication that has been provided in each and every stage of the process. On the letting, especially Amber and Jack have been amazingly proactive and were always on their toes to get things sorted. On the occasion when we bought a property, the process was delayed due to various reasons, Laura and Paul were again proactive in following up with the concerned parties. Again the communication has been really good, I have to say. All in all, a great team.

Imagine have been absolutely amazing for us. We decided to put our house on the market at the beginning of March when we initially went up with another estate agents local to the area. We were with them for 8 weeks and the process was awful, we were losing hope so we took a leap of faith moving to Imagine and it was the best move that we could have made and it exceeded any expectations we had. We had 5 times more viewings in the first 2 weeks than we had with the previous estate agent in 7 weeks and the communication regarding feedback and any updates was outstanding. We were kept updated regularly and was never made to feel like I was pestering or ever asking too much, someone was always happy to answer our questions. All of the team are so friendly, approachable and reassuring; particularly Paul and Danny who were so good to us. Imagine took all of the stress and hassle away and made it an exciting and smooth process.. and here we are with an offer after just two weeks on their books. I honestly can not recommend them enough, so professional but relatable too. The reviews speak for themselves and I wish I had looked into them before going on the market as we would have gone with them initially but at least we found them in the end. Thank you for everything Imagine, because if it wasn’t for you we probably would have ended up coming off the market and therefore wouldn’t have been able to get our dream home!

Paul Markey unfortunately let the team down. I’m presuming he’s just started his career so his inexperience has resulted in some poorly judged, unprofessional behaviour. Real shame as we initially liked Paul and mentioned giving them more business in the future yet definitely one to avoid now sadly. Context - We decided to proceed with another property that was on sale with a different estate agent instead of Paul’s property. He wasn’t happy… “Thank you for wasting my time and also now having to have a very awkward conversation with my owner…. Lets hope for your sake you don’t get messed around like we have but if there is such a thing as property karma it may well happen. Think we can end this here” No commission on this one I’m afraid 😉

PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS ESTATE AGENT! Imagine bushey were the estate agents I had to use to purchase my property. From the very beginning, things did not go to plan. I found Kelly (head of new homes at imagine Bushey) to be extremely difficult to work with. Recommending a horrible law firm (which I felt fourced to use, as when I explained that I would like to shop around, she became hostile, and did not want to work with anyone else, exclaiming to me that "in this industry you get what you pay for"). Unfortunately, I found her genuinely unhelpful, and I ended up speaking to Jamie at Imagine for all of my enquiries. Who unfortunately was as unprofessional as her, making numerous spelling mistakes forgetting to respond and again being generally unhelpful. I eventually did meet both of these people when I (eventually after over 6 months) exchanged on my property. They had very little to say, and they wanted me to just sign the documents. When I pointed out the issues with the property, most importantly, that it hadn't even been cleaned (there was thick dust and paint on all of the surfaces and piles of dirt in all of the corners). Again, they had nothing to say, other then please sign here, and we had "the girls" clean the apartment before you arrived. After my purchase, there has been no after care, no contact at all. I would highly recommend against using imagine Bushey!
