For some context, we had arranged for the vendor to hand the keys over directly on this occasion. 35 minutes after I let you know you could head over, the vendor notified me that they had to leave with their removal team for their move to York. To avoid making you wait over an hour for me to travel back to the area to retrieve the keys, the vendor left the keys in a secure spot in the shed and sent over the photo.
In hindsight, I see how this was a frustrating way to receive the keys to your new home, and I apologise for misjudging the situation. I really appreciate your feedback, as it helps us improve.

We are cash buyers and have viewed with several other estate agents and never been asked to provide such information.
Not prepared to hand over such personal information just to view a house.
No other estate agent asked for this unless you are making an offer.
Potential sale lost and they didn't seem to care one bit.

I passed the court case details on to them, they followed up very quickly, visited the premises of the defendants and kept me informed throughout the process. They have now recovered my funds, and I am just waiting for the embargo time to pass.
I cannot fault the service provided. A+ extremely efficient.
Hopefully will never have to use them again, but should something like this arise in the future, I will not think twice!

My first encounter was in person with Sarah Nourse and I found her to be welcoming, incredibly professional and efficient and this turned out to be an accurate first impression. She is a woman of her word, was really great to deal with and made the process of arranging viewings, and subsequently agreeing on a purchase as stress-free as it could have been under the circumstances. She was genuinely helpful throughout the whole process and I'm very grateful to her. I also want to shout out the viewing agent Claire who was always friendly, helpful and accommodating despite often being under pressure on a very tight schedule of viewings. Overall I don't imagine I could have had a better experience of buying my first house than I had with the team at Oulsnam and all my dealings with them were in massive contrast to my experiences with some of their local competitors (the less said about them, the better!)

GoogleWe used Your Move Bury to sell our house but we did not use the conveyancing solicitor that they recommended as we had a person Referal for our own and they were almost £500 cheaper. This is when everything changed. There were very little chasing by the agent, the sake dragged on and in and unless prompted they did absolutely nothing. They constantly told me any delays were down to “our” solicitor. They automatically blamed her for anything that held up the completion when it was never our end holding up completion. There were several emails that I sent with no response from the branch which is so unhelpful and very rude. So if you want to use Your Move Bury and want to use your own conveyancer then DO NOT use them as they turn very unhelpful towards helping you with the completion of your sale.

We're really sorry to get this feedback and can only apologies if you feel this was the case. We felt we had done a great job in selling your property for you for a great price and a timescale that suited you, especially after you had tried so many other agents with no success.
As you mention things slowed down when you chose a solicitor. It can be frustrating at this stage as we are all very much in the hands of the solicitors that have been appointed, and there is not a huge amount we as agents can do to progress the matter with limited communication from them. In this instance the main delay was the issuing of the draft contracts which took almost 6 weeks. Once contracts were issued the matter was completed in 13 weeks which would be considered the industry standard.
