Do not bother booking lettings insurance with them. It is a total nightmare to cancel and they will send you on a wild goose chase to do so. I called insurance directly, they said speak to lettings, they eventually got back to me and gave me an email to cancel with. They responded saying speak to insurance company. Seriously? Full circle. Do yourself a favour and book it yourself.

GoogleCan't sing their praises enough. I saw many properties with several estate agents in Aylesbury and none came anywhere close to providing the outstanding service that I received from Sean and Teal. They listenened to what I wanted/needed and lined up viewing after viewing until we found the perfect property. The sale had several complications and Sean worked tirelessly, professionaly and diplomatically to resolve all issues. If you're thinking of buying or selling in Aylesbury then you need to use Brown & Merry, they are the best by far.

GoogleI was searching for quite some time a property for rent. I found an ad and had a pleasure to speak to Sophie Terry. She did everything she could to set up the agreement with the landlord as smooth as possible. She was always in contact and provided me updates immediately. I highly recommend Brown & Merry, specially because of hard working people like Sophie in their team. I would have provided her more than just the 5 stars. I hope her work is recognized In the company. Outstanding service and very kind person ! (Not all estate agent would go the extra mile as she did).

GoogleI used Brown & Merry in the sale of my flat. They were nothing but helpful and polite throughout. From valuation to completion, they provided excellent advice and I felt I was working with professionals. It was a relatively complicated and drawn out sale but they were supportive and smoothed the way as much as they could. Highly recommended.

We have just moved into our new property which we bought through B&M, Hemel. We also sold our property with them. The whole experience was a positive one. They were extremely proactive with getting viewings for our flat, and were always prompt at returning calls in relation to the property we were buying. Kevin, did an outstanding job in terms of overcoming issues along the way and offering options to keep the process moving. He dealt with any issues in a calm and professional manner and we would have no hesitation in recommending Brown and Merry to others.

TrustpilotSequence rental - AVOID!
Sequence rental are possibly the worst company I have ever dealt with. Overpriced, inept, and seem to totally forget that as a landlord it is me that pays for their service. Tenants did not report a leak that caused my wooden worktops to rot, to replace them will cost nearly £800 but am being told this is fair wear and tear and I can not claim for them to be replaced! Poor service from start to finish.

Absolutely useless got a 12 week contract after 4 weeks no viewing what so ever the 4 time wasters i got never got any feed back from brown n merry Aylesbury i had to keep calling them when i called to ask why i wasn't getting viewings i was told it was brexit it was the school holidays it was the price even though it was 20 thousand pounds less than when i brought it in 2017 Do they want to sell houses or not the communication or lack of it is not acceptable would defiantly NOT RECOMMEND THEM

GoogleWe would like to thank all the Ladies and gents at Brown and Merry Aylesbury. In a difficult time, with house prices all over the place due to brexit uncertainty, we didn't expect to get as many viewings as we did, and certainly didn't expect to get a sale so quickly. The guys and ladies at Brown and Merry gave us a cracking service, polite and friendly at all times, and, when it came to showing potential purchasers around the property, they were brilliant. Special thanks has to go out to everyone in the office really, as they were all super polite, friendly and efficient. Top marks though to Charlotte, she ended up chasing and pushing the solicitors (shoosmiths) and finally managing to arrange dates etc, what a star. She definitely went over and above what she needed to do and in the end, it was her tenacious attitude that got us to the finish line.

Booked a second viewing last minute at a property we have agreed to purchase in Aylesbury. William, who accompanied us for the first viewing and has been good with communicating, came at half 5 (after he had finished) for an agreed 15 min slot. However he stayed for 45 mins with us and it was extremely helpful and beneficial.

List bait properties that are no longer available and continually fail to return calls over a number of weeks, despite multiple commitments 'to come right back' when followed up. The Dfferent excuses provided each time. Serious question marks re: the ethics of this place, and that's before we get on to their complete lack of basic professionalism. As a buyer I would not consider buying anywhere listed by this lot, even if I really liked the place... plenty of other professional outfits that do manage basic things like returning calls etc out there. Potential buyers and sellers beware. AVOID.

We sold our house in MK via Brown and Merry in Newport Pagnell. They offered us a good deal and got the property sold for the full asking price within a few days. We had been with an online estate agent and had to use their solicitors and after 12 weeks the sale fell though because of the solicitors were rubbish. So we were very worried about the whole process starting again. These worried proved unfounded. We are in the process of buying another house and happen to be buying a house with the same company Jones and Chapman in Wallasey. Although It is too early to rate them so far so good. Both have been very helpful and allowed us to submit our ID at the MK branch to save us a long drive.

The Leighton Buzzard branch of Brown and Merry's is shockingly bad. The staff take days to respond to emails and then only give one sentence responses when they do and ignore half of your queries. They never return calls when the say they will. Then when you call them they are usually busy or away from their desk. If you finally get hold of them they say they'll do something for you then never follow up phone calls with any action or email confirmation or information they promised they would send over to you like links, numbers, documents etc. It feels like banging your head against a wall. They make doing their own job seem like they're doing you a huge favour and that is never a good thing. Just don't go there.

I cannot recommend Brown and Merry's mortgage services enough! Loren Telford who is the Mortgage services manager helped me with my Buy to let Mortgage and is absolutely brilliant, she knows her job inside out, goes above and beyond to deliver. If it wasn't for Loren, I wouldn't of been able to get this buy to let property that I've just purchased. she's amazing and I highly recommend her services to anyone.
