Highly recommend!

I would highly recommend Starkings and Watson to anyone looking to sell any property. Both Sam and Connor were fantastic throughout the process of marketing and arranging viewings for the property. They were polite, friendly, and thoroughly professional and made us feel like we were in very safe hands. Excellent communication and kept us updated. Once an offer was accepted, it was Will who dealt with the sales progression side of things, which was made difficult at times (entirely due to my buyers unprofessional solicitors) but both Will and Sam made sure things progressed. Really can't thank them enough for getting us to the completion date.

Our experience buying through starkings…

Our experience buying through starkings has been pretty good, keeping us up to date regularly, they helped with the smooth transition, and even a little gift to personalise the experience abit more. The only fault we have is that we felt alot of pressure to formalise an offer, as first time buyers we wanted to ensure we could afford such a commitment before we pressed ahead, After that we couldn't fault them at all.

Well what can I say about Starkings and Watson Estate agents? Right from the word go, on my very first viewing their staff have been polite and courteous, have kept me informed at all times and checked in with me to see how my property search was going. After I found my property and put an offer in they went out of their way to assist and Izzy, the Sales Progressor, has been fantastic throughout, she has literally held my hand through what can only be described as a very difficult chain. We have had daily (occasionally hourly) updates and Izzy has remained calm and professional throughout whilst still retaining a sense of humour. I really hope that I do not need the services of an estate agent anytime in the near future but would highly recommend Starkings and Watson to anybody wishing to move. A huge thank you to Izzy, I shall miss our daily chats. You really deserve a promotion 😉

The main reason I used Starkings and Watson was because, initially, I had put my flat on the market about 3 years before, and had put it with SW. But the sellers (also with SW) withdrew their property from the market and it was, at the time, the only house in which I was interested. I therefore took my flat off the market, but SW agreed not to charge me for the considerably amount of work they had already put in. Because they had been so reasonable over not charging me first time round, I determined to use them again, when I knew I would definitely need to sell the flat. Chris got back to me, after an online enquiry, at lightening speed - at about 10pm I believe! It was very impressive. He was also very attentive for the first few weeks whilst we found an initial buyer. There has always been a very prompt response to any kind of enquiries I've made, to the extent that calls were responded to over the difficult Christmas lockdown week - when I'd not even left a message (the next day a member of staff contacted me to see if there was anything he could do to help, seeing that my number had called them). When the fraught moment of exchange of contracts approached, Melissa and her team were very efficient in acting as go-between for the various solicitors, to make sure the process proceeded as smoothly as possible.

We could not recommend Starkings and Watson highly enough! We went on the market just before lockdown and managed to find a buyer within a few weeks of viewings starting again. Unfortunately it didn’t work out but Starkings kept us up to date every step of the way and managed to secure us another buyer within a matter of weeks of going back on the market. They were so considerate of our situation as we were expecting a baby and helped to push the sale through in just 4 weeks, meaning we were able to get into our new property just in time for babies arrival! All the staff were incredible but a special thanks to Melissa who was just wonderful in getting everything through for us!

A huge thank you to this amazing agent for helping us to sell our family home and make the long distance move to our new home smooth and as stress free as possible. Covid lockdown came into force the day our home went on the market with them, however the week the market reopened we had an offer within 6 days. An extra special thanks to Annie our sales progressor for her time and dedication. Our sale and purchase was less than easy due to solicitor mistakes, lengthy delays and lack of communication, however she kept us in the loop daily with any new information that she received and she answered our endless questions as first time sellers with great detail. I would hugely recommend Chris and the team to buy or sell with again. Everyone we spoke to was friendly and knowledgeable about our sale and the added stresses of the covid pandemic were dealt with safely and professionally. I cannot recommend the team at Starkings & Watson enough, especially Samuel Patrick who has kept us fully informed with every detail throughout the whole process. On our initial meeting with Samuel we were told that he could help sell our house within a week and we are very happy to say we accepted an offer of our asking price exactly a week after our property went ‘live’!
