We would 100% recommend Starkings and Watson!! 💪🏼 Through corona virus, things started moving slower with the sale of our house but Melissa from Starkings and Watson chased up the solicitors and got our sale moving smoothly again. Melissa kept us up to date with everything and checked in with us by email regularly just to let us know the sale was still going ahead and details of what had been happening etc. This put our minds at ease and we felt we could trust Melissa 100%. From the initial meeting and valuation to the viewings and updates it was an absolute pleasure. The whole team were fantastic and really helped make one of the most stressful times in life soo much easier. A special thanks to Melissa who kept me informed the whole time, even if nothing had happened due to the pandemic, she would always stay in touch. Incredibly professional and knowledgeable but also super friendly and approachable. She made such an effort and it really showed and helped me. I cannot recommend Starkings and Watson any higher, this is the first house sale I’ve done and I won’t hesitate to contact them for the next time. 5 stars, should be able to give more. During our time with Starkings and Watson, we had a few people let us down last min. However, the team kept our spirits up throughout and chased everyone who seemed interested. A massive thank you to Melissa who dealt with our move! She was by far better use to us than our solicitors, keeping in contact on a regular basis, helping with understanding of next stages. She even chased the solicitors for us when they didn't get back to us on a query.... Or more! She is an asset to the team, an approachable lady who does her best for her clients, and actually cares! I am truly thankful.

Having just exchanged contracts must say we are extremely pleased with the excellent service from all the team at Starkings and Watson. We weren't convinced by other estate agents when first putting our house on the market but Chris really listened and understood our needs. When our first sale fell through after uncertain Covid-19 times the team were very quick to get things moving again and we sold within a week. We would particularly like to thank Melissa who has kept us informed throughout and when any issues arose was very quick to chase and get resolved. A very professional service all round.

Firstly, I cannot recommend Starkings & Watson enough! This was my first time selling a house, and after having a bad experience with my initial estate agent i was then recommended these guys from a friend. From the initial contact it was clear to see they were a step above, Chris made initial contact & visited my property, explained all processes thoroughly & gave me a realistic guide price i was happy with. He then returned and took some fantastic pictures & before i knew it my property was on the market. Regular updates throughout the selling process and during the offer stage. Once a sale price was agreed i was then passed onto there sales progression team, Melissa kept me updated throughout this process & often went above and beyond to ensure the sale went through. COVID-19 had an obvious slowing effect to the process & i was concerned the sale may fall through, but i was regularly reassured by Melissa who couldn’t do enough to ensure it all went as smoothly as possible, I genuinely believe without her persistence this sale may not of ever happened. Thanks Melissa! These guys are super professional, with extremely reasonable selling rates and offer the best sales progression, which i think set these guys above any other estate agent. Throughout the purchase of my house it has been an absolute pleasure to deal with Starkings & Watson at what is an incredibly stressful time, especially in the current climate. My first experience was with Chris Starking when negotiating a purchase price for my property. Chris was very friendly and professional throughout the process and kept me up-to-date. Following acceptance of my offer and appointment of my solicitors I was very pleased to find out Starkings & Watson appoint a dedicated contact as a `sales progressor`. I had the pleasure of working with both Annie and Melissa who were both incredibly professional and kept me informed at all times. Both were very easy to contact and were honest, timely and upfront in their replies. I believe special commendation is owed to Melissa who dealt with the final steps in the wake of the current crisis, without her I'm not sure the sale would have gone through. To conclude, I think anyone who has the pleasure of purchasing a house through Starkings & Watson can rest easy knowing they are in good hands.

Having bought and sold many properties over the years and having also worked for solicitors doing conveyancing I never placed much importance with the after sales team. In fact I'd go so far as to say I'd never come across one which merited the job title - I found them all to be hopeless. Then having just bought another property we were assigned Sarah Short as our after sales progressor and now I have to eat my words. Sarah is by far the most amazing, hard working, professional, calm, thorough after sales progressor I have ever come across. From the start of our selling process we had a very 'awkward' buyer who would have tested the patience of a saint. Sarah negotiated lots of tricky hurdles along the way and there is absolutely no doubt our sale wouldn't have progressed and completed without her. She went above and beyond throughout this process, often emailing us out of hours to pass on any information she had received out of her working hours to put our minds at rest so we didn't have to wait till the next day worrying about it overnight. If you use Starkings & Watson to sell your property - which I would highly recommend (I wouldn't use anyone else) or you are fortunate to be buying your next property through them then you won't go far wrong. From the beginning process of our valuation with Chris to liaising with the lovely Sam at the Brundall office to Sarah taking control and getting us over the finishing line was superb.

S&W were recommended to us and we're so glad we used them. Melissa was fantastic throughout what was an extremely stressful and needlessly lengthy process (not the fault of S&W). Melissa was the glue that kept the whole chain together and remained in constant contact with all parties and solicitors going above and beyond to ensure everything kept moving. Without her efforts, knowledge and professionalism I strongly believe that the move would never have happened. She always called back with updates at the agreed time (a extremely admirable trait) and was more than happy to take on duties that didn't necessarily fall under her remit however, she was so passionate about us getting our dream move that she frequently went the extra mile. The key thing in any major purchase or transaction is regular and accurate communication. Starkings & Watson nailed that whilst handling my recent property purchase. The process was unexpectedly protracted but their service delivery was always professional [name drop for Will and Liz here especially], updating when appropriate, providing clarity, good advice and judgement that kept things running smoothly. If you are after a value for money, professional, friendly and modern service then look no further. We decided on Starkins & Watson after viewing a property with themselves and receiving a very professional service....which was quite refreshing given the poor service from the majority of other estate agents nowadays!. Initially all was a bit slow but this was mainly due to listing over Xmas, however Chris constantly updated us with figures, listing changes etc to maximise the sale potential and we sold shortly after. After sales was brilliant, constant chasing on our behalf to progress the sale/purchase. This is how a modern day estate agents should be run and the others could learn a lot from their approach. Absolutely fantastic service from the Starkings & Watson team, specifically David for sale, and Annie during the process after that. We initially met with David, who was recommended to me by a family member. He explained the process of sale in simple terms and answered any questions we had, which was very helpful. During the sale I loved the online portal, it made it so easy to see who was booked to view the property and also showed how proactive the team were being.We accepted an offer, two and a half weeks after putting our house on the market, and for over the asking price. I was constantly updated by Annie and the team, S&W seemed more on top of the sale than our buyers solicitors did. Even spotting that the buyers needed to be out of their property by a certain date, which their solicitors had missed.Very thorough, friendly, and I never felt I needed to contact the team. If we move again, I would certainly use Starkings & Watson as my first choice. Thanks team!
