Very rude when calling to ask to view a property, the lady was intent on making me not interested in the property. The people letting out the property were not allowing viewings so she pushed for me not to want to even view it by video. After responding to the video viewing which I managed to get to, she did not respond to me at all. I then emailed about another property and was told the following by email :“We have an application on that property. Sorry for inconvenience”.Yet again rude and short and it seems like they did not want to deal with me as a person looking for a property. Wouldn’t bother and don’t think that they want the work of rentals during Covid.

TrustpilotLate, no contact, extremely rude office staff at Barnt Green branch
My partner booked a viewing at a property listed with Arden. We turned up on time to an empty property and proceeded to wait for between ten and fifteen minutes with no sign of the estate agent Robyn who was due to show us around and no contact from the agent advising on their arrival time. We gave up after this time and left, disappointed to not be able to see a great house after having travelled so far. On the drive back, we received a call from Arden asking where we were as the agent showing us around was “there now”. I said that we had made our appointed slot, waited at the property and then left after the no show of the agent. The lady I spoke to advised I “should have contacted the office” to be advised their agent was running a few minutes late. I said that as it was their agent who could not make the agreed appointment time, they should have contacted us. This was met with extreme rudeness from the member of staff at the office who said she was “not going to get into a confrontation” and ended the call. If I were the vendor of the property, I would be extremely disappointed with the behaviour of the staff at Arden and their conduct and lack of professionalism.
