After losing one property due to the vendor no longer selling up, I popped into the Arden office in Bromsgrove and intially worked with Victoria and Libby to get three suitable viewings booked. One of these properties really worked for us, so working with Victoria we submitted our offer. Due to the vendors personal situation, this wasnt a straight forward offer, but Victoria worked with all parties, even on her days off, to ensure everything was covered and managed to successfully get this across the line. We are hugely grateful to Victoria, Libby and the Arden Team for supporting us at what had already been a very difficult & stressful time. We now look forward to the coming months and making this move happen!!

I instructed Arden’s in Worcester to sell my two bed flat. Since the get go the girls have been absolutely amazing getting the property launched & on the property market. I have already had several viewings and a couple of interested buyers with offers on the table. GoogleI initially had a poor experience with Arden Estates, primarily due to poor communication. I made an offer on a property (even mentioned I’d be willing to match the asking price), but despite chasing over the weekend and being told on Monday that I’d get a call back “shortly,” no one got in touch. I kept checking the listing excitedly, only to discover in the evening that it had been sold. I was understandably disappointed.
However, the manager apologised sincerely and took steps to make up for the initial experience, providing fortnightly personalised updates. I eventually bought a property through them. Yet again, communication was inconsistent, another estate agent promised to call back and never did. If you wait, you risk losing the property. If you call repeatedly, it might signal desperation and lead to price inflation, which is what I fear may have happened, as I ended up paying £6,000 above asking in a slow market.
As a first-time buyer, I’m left wondering if it was all worth it.
My solicitor (JS Law, Ms Beverly Chilaizya) managed to complete the transaction within three months. However, communication was again a major issue, emails were largely unanswered, and I only got updates if I chased with calls. The online platform they use was very efficient, and Arden Estate were helpful in chasing the solicitor and assisting with post-sale queries.
