GoogleDon't waste your time with them. We tried to arrange house viewing via one of their agents (Matt). Despite several attempts, we were constantly ignored with no communication/explanation whatsoever. Obivously they were not taking us seriously. The only reason that I could think of is that we did not want to use their mortgage broker.

GoogleContacted them via email through Zoopla as well as my husband leaving his details about renting a property. We didn't hear anything for 2 days, so I tried to call again, only to be told the property was now unavailable. As I write this it still says available on Zoopla, 2 days after speaking with them and 4 days after first enquiring, with no response. The staff member was very unprofessional on the phone and didn't even bother trying to help me with any similar properties they might have. The flat was not clean on move in date despite the contract statement. The bad condition was documented by the inventory clerk. Dealing with Kayleigh and Chris with absolutely no results for 2 weeks. Hope this will save you from bad experience.

I can assure you that we have done our best to manage your expectations and in fact we are still working on your behalf to fulfill those goals.Having looked into this matter for you, I would like to note the following: You were very insistent that you needed to move into the property on the day after the previous tenant moved out (over a bank holiday when many companies are closed), meaning there were less than 24 hours between one tenancy ending and yours beginning. The previous tenant had agreed to have a professional clean upon leaving, Unfortunately, they only arranged to have the carpets cleaned professionally and carried out a domestic clean to the rest of the property. Once we became aware of this we arranged for a professional clean to be carried out via the ex-tenant and landlord. I note that you were still unhappy with the standard of clean and we have since arranged for a cleaner to re-visit the property, this coming Tuesday, to go over the bathroom as per your request. I trust that this meets with your satisfaction and that I would ask that while I appreciate this may have caused some dissatisfaction regarding the start of your tenancy you can appreciate that we are and have done, our utmost, to resolve this issue for you. GoogleWe hadn't quite got our house on the market and we went to view a property to essentially rule out that style of house. However, rather than ruling it out we agreed that it suited our needs, location and size requirements better than we thought it possibly could.
Our house eventually made it to market and within 2 days we'd accepted an offer and the rest is history.
Matt, Harry and the rest of the sales team helped us through the entire process and even when we thought the new house was no longer on the cards they worked their magic and it was all back on again.

GoogleSinclair Hammelton have always been excellent to work with over the years I have bought and rented property. They know the area well and have built up a knowledge and understanding of the market and importantly it's people. They are excellent negotiators, achieving the right price for both seller and buyer. Sounds obvious, but this is really important in making sure a sale is successful and doesn't break up. Inevitably the UK conveyancing process brings about its own challenges and this is where it counts.
When it came to selling our family home they were top of my list.
They achieved the right price for our sale and helped everyone in a complex chain over several months as we relocated to a different part of the country.
Added to their expertise they are also nice people. Both management and team there are super supportive of the local schools and community and this is what establishes them as such a strong player in an increasingly corporate market.
I would recommend them as your 1st choice of agent, if not that then speak to Luke, Matt or Natalie and see the comparison for yourself.
